Bonnie Anderson takes 5th place for Jayrusalem! This is our joint highest placing... we've been 5th three times now. :lol: Previous #5 smashes: 3LAU - 'How You Love Me' and Queen Natalie La Rose of Jayrusalem - 'Somebody'.

 

'Unbroken' seemed to surpass expectations, given that only three countries predicted we'd come Top 10! :D

 

We would like to thank all the countries that supported us throughout the Semi Finals & the Final, particularly Farahtyn, Harmonica & Unovia for giving Jayrusalem your 18 points in the final!

 

Jayrusalem may not be taking part in the September contest (but we shall see)!

Jayrusalem return to BJSC with our 6th entry of 2015 - 'Wait Just A Minute' by MYZICA (remixed by Makeup and Vanity Set). The question is, will it be our 6th qualifier of the year?

 

MYZICA are a male/female duo (Isaaca Byrd + Micah Tawlks) from Nashville, Tennessee. Their debut self-titled EP includes the 'Wait Just A Minute' remix, the original pop version and three other tracks.

:heart: I was toying with the idea of sending this song prior to now, but I eventually decided to save it for the last contest of the year. 'Rescue My Heart' is an understated ballad, with haunting & atmospheric sounding vocals/production. Somehow I think it sounds really well suited to this time of year, when the days get shorter & colder. I absolutely love it. :wub:

 

'Rescue My Heart' serves as Jayrusalem's 14th entry overall, and 7th entry of 2015.

Jayrusalem is in Semi Final 2 this month, only the 4th occasion that this has happened! The previous three SF2 inclusions resulted in qualifying, so here's hoping that continues. :kink:

Liz Longley has made it to the Final! I'm thrilled because this means that all of my 2015 entries managed to qualify (7 entries; I didn't take part in January, July & September). It's also my 10th qualifier overall out of 14 entries. :wub:

37th out of 41 songs for Liz Longley's 'Rescue My Heart'. I can't be too despondent because it's always great to qualify & be a part of the final! Jayrusalem managed 7 qualifiers out of 7 entries this year, which is by far the best showing for my country. Thank you very much to all the nations who supported Jayrusalem throughout the year. :wub:
