wow, 11 spots? :o thats great news, top 10 here we come!!
I think B2B will defo go back top 5 when Hurt is released
It ended up moving up 12 spots to #30. ^_^

I knew 'Hurt' would do wonders for the album sales. :D

So did I my Waggers. :D

I said so a few pages back, and I was RIGHT. :D I love it when i'm right...

Well the public do love a good ballad, and look at what 'Beautiful' did for the sales of Stripped.

And especially as 'Hurt' is better than 'Beautiful'. :P

I whole heartedly agree, I liked Beautiful at the time, but it became SO overrated in terms of the best Christina song. -_-

I really don't understand why Christina has left the 2nd single sooo late!! Hurt is such an amazing song and has a unique video..she should have put it out late September/first week in October! Early November is far too late!! It is little wonder the CD is dropping out everywhere!

On a positive note, the incredible 'Hurt' is definately likely to push the album back into the British top 20 possibly top ten, it should also take it higher into the US top 40 n' all!

I doubt however that it would sell 10 million..i mean my Madge's Confessions album is struggling to get past 8 million right now!! Albums aren't selling as they used to!

I remember reading that Stripped had sold like 900k in the UK going triple platinum! :)

Stripped has sold 2m in the UK, so I dunno how many times platinum that is. ;)

I don't think album sales on the whole can be blamed, I mean Mariah sold just under 10m with Mimi, so there's nothing wrong with sales in general.

I still think B2B is doing incredibly well, considering that it's a concept album and also it has already sold 2m and Hurt hasn't even gotten out of the blocks yet. I definately think B2B will jump a lot next week, and even more the week after, which is the most important thing heading into a high sales period. I agree with you MG about thinking Christina was leaving it too late, but then in retrospect she's held off until this time of year because sales will be bigger, so she can have decent exposure around the high sales period, and therefore boosting the album.

I'm really surprised Confessions sold just 8 million, I know album sales are down but it is a great album. I agree though, she's left Hurt too late.

I also agree with Kelllly... she's leaving it late for bigger sales of B2B which is more important. It is doing well too, for just one single :D

I think that Hurt is better than Beautiful too, Beautiful is way overrated!
