another debut in norway at #2 :yahoo:

looks like she will have to do with #2 in UK album chart though now, snow patrol are 225 copies ahead... oh well, she is outselling them everywhere else, and 110K + isnt bad for 2 weeks!!

Nope it's great, maybe she'll sneak in there from weekend sales, we can hope :D

Great debut in Norway

Well the Snow Patrol album has been reduced to £7.95 in HMV & the Chasing Cars track is brilliant so I'm not surprised.

was anyone disappointed with its first week sales of over 80,00 in the uk,im not a huge fan but like some of her stuff but i was sure the album would sell 100,000+in its first week, dont get me wrong 80,000+is great.

in ireland it went straight in at number 1 last week, its number 2 this week where snow patrol regained the number 1 spot

of course it would of been even better with 100K + sales BUT what can you do now? nothing, so you have to move on, im sure 'Hurt' will boost the sales massively or at least keep it stable!! :D

she is also wiping the floor with higher debuts than all her other albums worldwide so you cant really complain... :yahoo:

FIRST POST UPDATED!

some great news for OZ, after only two weeks she has made platinum on the ARIA charts but a combined status of double platinum!! this means christina has had the fastest selling female album since 1999 which was shania twain 'come on over'!! :yahoo:

theres drops in new zealand, uk and denmark!! BUT with 'hurt' going to radio shortly sales will once again pick up and sell bucket loads!! after a disappointing debut in POLAND at #49, in its 2nd week it climbs a massive 40 places to #9!! :yahoo:

She's falling a bit in the uk, but I think it might be like Anastacia's 3rd album.

Go straight to #1 and sell bucketloads for the first few weeks and then slowly drift of out of the top 10 and when she releases a second single the album will start selling again and possible be #1

I agree, Josh, I think Hurt could take the album back to number 1!

In yet another big week for new albums on The Billboard 200, Danity Kane comes out on top of the crop with its self-titled debut. The set sold 234,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, giving Bad Boy Records its seventh No. 1 album and first since 2003's "Bad Boys II" soundtrack.

OutKast opens at No. 2 with the its fifth effort, the soundtrack to its film "Idlewild." The LaFace release sold 196,000.

After debuting on top last week, Christina Aguilera's RCA album "Back to Basics" slips to No. 3 with 135,000, a sales decline of 61%.

Ooo thanks for reminding me! First post edited :D
