40-21 tomorrow and the rest the day after YAY.

Here's a game for y'all to play. The following songs will feature in the countdown but your aim is to guess WHERE EXACTLY. The songs have been chosen randomly out of the ones I have left.

Smack Me! Considering it was my big 'Oh my god I must get BJSC off its break and send this' moment, it only actually peaked at #17 in my chart! (#72 in the end of year though, so mistake rectified slightly) Still love it though, it reminds me of passing my driving test as that was the first song I listened to right afterwards!

40 :: BJSC 29 : Skall // Girls - Lust For Life

00 :: finish (Final): 32nd

00 :: points given (Final): 12 (out of 18)

While Girls wasn't technically a discovery I remember that I became a big fan of the song after that appearance. So I'm counting it as a discovery now. The song just makes you feel so good. Severina of the Eurovision fame is at #39 with 'Brad Pitt'. The instrumental chorus part is incredible and Severina delivers as good as she always does. Both this and Italiana are some of the absolute best ever post-Eurovision singles of former Eurovision contestants. Next we have a former winner, Emma Hewitt. To say it was a very deserving winner is an understatement. Espen and their 29480248th entry, a former UP entrant of mine actually, in this countdown are at #38. Espen takes a terribly BLAH / DULL genre and picks the absolute best from it! It's really a gift. Elizabeth Carew, an unfortunate runner-up to an incredibly dull Lykke Li in 32, is closing this section.

41 :: BJSC 54 : D'yermak'er // Josef Salvat - Hustler

00 :: finish (Final): 11th

00 :: points given (Final): 12

Agnetha's song is one of the catchiest I heard in a long time in BJSC and Bal's is just so dark and perfect. It was only last contest but they are really ready to be in my Top 50 discoveries. I'm feeling totes emotional now bye.

YAY. What a beauty (if i do say so myself). Still gives me chills.

31 :: BJSC 45 : Umiiruka // Shy'm - Et Alors !

00 :: finish (Final): 9th

00 :: points given (Final): 6

32 :: BJSC 45 : Espen // Micaela - Splendida Stupida

00 :: finish (Final): 27th

00 :: points given (Final): 12

33 :: BJSC 17 : Deandria // Regina Spektor - Samson

00 :: finish (Final): 20th

00 :: points given (Final): 8

34 :: BJSC 31 : Espen // Flight Facilities - Crave You

00 :: finish (Final): 9th

00 :: points given (Final): 18

35 :: BJSC 16 : FSR Rontvia // Blänk; Young Ivy - I'm Going For Your Brother

00 :: finish (Final): 10th

00 :: points given (Final): 10

Actually forgot how good 'I'm going for your brother' is before this countdown. 'Crave You' was entered to one of the weaker contests (Sheelah WHO? pass the sick bucket por favor x) but it's still a wonderful piece of music so deserves a place in this countdown. The song really gets going from the middle onwards though. Regina Spektor really shines in this song. Deandria sending classy songs, as per usual. Espen can even make me appreciate Italian which I don't exactly like. I told you it was a gift. I totally fixed the contest so that it'd qualify. Still f*** y'all for not voting for it in the final. Shy'm's appearance made me interested in the album which ended up to be 19th best album of 2012 for me <3

Get the FUCK OUT!

Erm did I really DISCOVER the song after you entered it?

The answer is NO.

26 :: BJSC 45 : Caerfyrddia // Rebekka Karijord - Use My Body While It's Still Young

00 :: finish (Final): 15th

00 :: points given (Final): 10

27 :: BJSC 21 : Camdonia // You Love Her Coz She's Dead - Superheroes

00 :: finish (Final): 21st

00 :: points given (Final): 12

28 :: BJSC 52 : Skall // Air France - It Feels Good To Be Around You

00 :: finish (Final): 10th

00 :: points given (Final): 12

29 :: BJSC 32 : Lorikeet // Spark - Crave

00 :: finish (Final): 4th

00 :: points given (Final): 10

30 :: BJSC 45 : Ingermanlandia // Woodkid - Run Boy Run

00 :: finish (Final): 1st

00 :: points given (Final): 8

It was so satisfying to see Woodkid win in the contest I hosted <3 Such a great song although I never would've tipped it for the win if I were not the host. Thankfully the indie vote (and not only!) powered up and gave it 200 points leaving the soon to be a Melodifestivalen flop Mary N'diaye in 2nd (thank f*** for that!). Spark is #29 with Crave. Such an infectious chorus. You just can't help but love the energy of the song. that being said her other songs are crap. Skall are just above with the song that changed my mind about Air France, although too late as they split up, I heard? D: Camdonia with their Crystal Castles-lite band are at #27. Truly fab 8-bit track which I'd probably give 12 points if it was entered again. Closing up this section we have Rebekka Karijord. It was so close between her and Micaela for 12 points in the final but seeing Micaela got only a 10 in the Semis it was only fair that I'd switch the two for the final.
