Chart Commentary

-With the release of Kelly Rowland's 4th studio album "Talk A Good Game";

4 of the album tracks debut into the chart this week including the title track

featuring Kevin Cossom which debuts at pole position. The second single

"Dirty Laundry" holds on at second place for the 3rd non-consecutive week.

Rowland's previous album "Here I Am" garnered 5 number one singles and

was the 2nd best album of 2011. Will "Talk A Good Game" match the success?

 

-We see a first appearance from Destiny's Child with "Cater 2 U" who's

resurgence in popularity is due to the Kelly Rowland track "You Changed"

featuring all three of the vocalists.

 

-Jessie J's "Wild" and Kelly Rowland's "Dirty Laundry" become their 7th and

4th gold certified tracks, respectively.

 

-Alexandra Burke's "Let It Go" falls from the all time Top 20 biggest sellers

as Disclosure's "You & Me" enters, jumping from 29 to 17.

 

-M.O's "Ain't Got Time" becomes the 3rd single to be certified double platinum

with total sales amassing 1,217,160
