So what do you guys think? The icelandic version of this song, 'Leyndarmál', spent six weeks on the top of the charts over here last fall and now it looks like he's gonna try to pull an Of Monsters and Men stunt and try to get some international recognition. Ásgeir (formerly Ásgeir Trausti) is really successful in Iceland, having spent a total of 18 weeks on top of the Icelandic charts with three songs in just under a year. My opinion is, though, that the english version doesn't sound as smooth as the icelandic one and his accent gets a bit on my nerves but I'd love to hear what you guys think, seeing how you haven't gotten used to the icelandic version before hearing the english version. (That always throws me a bit off songs that are translated)
