Commentary : It's a third straight week at the top for the pairing of Alejandro Fernandez and Christina Aguilera on the remake of a 70's song "Hoy tengo ganas de ti" used on a recent Mexican telenovela. Emeli Sande stalls at 2 but Stromae is on track for a second number one following 2009's "Alors on danse" as "Formidable" rises from 8 to 4. Bruno Mars jumps from 11 to 7 to being his tally of Top 10 entries on my chart to 12 in less than 3 years. The current Brazilian chart topper from Anitta "Show das ponderosas" with around 40 million youtube views goes from 17 to 12 just behind Luan Santana's ex Brazilian number one "Te esparando". Straight in at 13 is the first entry on my chart for Avicci although the Swedish DJ/producer has already two huge international hits in 2011 with "Levels" and in 2012 with "I could be the one". However "Wake me up" is set to be his biggest hit to date as the song is already number one in Sweden, Denmark and Holland amongst others. The song featues Aloe Blacc who had a entry on my chart in 2010 with "I need a dollar" Meanwhile in at 19 is Maitre Gims who had a big hit in francophone countries with "J'me tire" and enters my chart for the first time with the successful follow up "Bella". Maître Gims is a member of the rap group Sexion D'assaut which was in my Top 10 in 2010 with "Desole".
