Posted August 24, 200618 yr The Charlatans get their hits out Virgin.net The Charlatans are to release a 18-track singles album, titled 'Forever: The Singles', this November. The 'Best Of' record will hit the shops on November 13, with 2001 track 'You're So Pretty We're So Pretty' - remixed by Youth - released as a single on November 6. A DVD covering the indie rockers' career and including all of the band's videos will also be released on November 13. The new album is set for release despite the fact that The Charlatans released a 'Best Of' album, titled 'Melting Pot', back in March 1998. The band will also go on a UK tour this winter to support the singles album. August 26, 200618 yr Naaaah; I used to like The Charlatans for a while, but found their stuff a bit samey to be honest, although I would still rate them as a pretty good 90s British Indie band; but it is a bit cheeky for them to put out another "Greatest Hits" compilation which aint that different from the last one..... And where the fukk is "Then" if this is supposed to be a 'singles' compilation.....? :unsure: I believe that was the follow-up single to "Only One I Know" if memory serves....
August 31, 200618 yr Naaaah; I used to like The Charlatans for a while, but found their stuff a bit samey to be honest, although I would still rate them as a pretty good 90s British Indie band; but it is a bit cheeky for them to put out another "Greatest Hits" compilation which aint that different from the last one..... however think this is due to label wanting to get the most out of their back cat than the band. think they've had about 5 different record labels, so most probably the conglomerate who wants to maximise christmas profit from putting out this disc is not the same on they are signed to/or put out any other compilations.
