Sales of Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Ready to Die’ album have been halted. The ruling comes after a jury decided that a song on the album illegally sampled a song from the Ohio Players’ ‘Singing In The Morning’. The claimants were awarded $4.2 million along with rights to the song. Bad Boy Entertainment are planning to appeal the decision. “We think [the verdict] is without merit,†defence lawyer Jay Bowen said.
