Apparently they took a mutual decision to file for divorce. No reasons given.

 

I'm so sad for them.

The only good thing about this is that I assume he will be home to stay. Very sad news otherwise.

mm, once again, bad timing, I hope he is OK , and this doesn't spoil FHTE for him

Im so sad for them both :( but i kinda thought something was going on because id seen pic of Natasha on twitter with friends not wearing her rings but i didnt want to jump to conclusions so didnt say anything. I hope D is ok :(

yes, I have had a bad feeling for a little while now, just the tweets etc -

 

Im just so sad for them both. Just wishful thinking that they'll work it out like last time but if they've filed for divorce must be serious. The most important thing to me now is that D is ok at this time not even thinking of the musical, album etc just hope he's alright :(

it really sad news I just want to run and give Darius a big hug.

I actual was thinking something had happened just by a post on Natasha's twitter was something like " if I told you to kiss my ass that would just make you fall in love with me more then I would never get rid of you" then she then said opps did I just say that you know who you are. I just though it was a funny post but not now.

 

I know that his mum is will wanting to give him a great big mum hug the kind that makes everything better lol

I wish both Darius and Natasha all the best in the future whatevery life may bring, and I hope both find the happniest they hope for

she presumably was in love with D and he obviously with her, that's why she said yes to getting married. I put it down to they never had a normal relationship, they never spent much time together, to make a marriage work takes more than just falling in love.

:cry: :( he looks sad,probably feeling humiliated :( I want to give him a hug, I know he will bounce back, there is someone out there who will love him and give him his own little family for sure when he is ready- it must be so terribly hard having the eyes of the media on you rubbing it in, on a shallow aside, he needs to start working out for this musical - I can spy the startings of love handles- get pumping iron, man!! surely he must be coming back to the UK imminently for rehearsels, aren't they starting any time now, so he will be back here for some time hopefully

Why on earth should he feel humiliated?

Most of us know Darius has sacrificed his career time after time for hers, so as not to disrupt HER sons' schooling and routine while she's filming out of town.

 

Her filming takes several weeks at a time. If Darius is going to progress his MT career, he cannot do it by taking short runs or a few legs of a tour to fit the domestic schedule. He is far better than that and he SHOULD be originating roles, with all of the commitment that entails.

 

The same applies to the album, he'd need to commit a minimum of six months to promote and release it and then further time to tour it.

 

Why didnt he take up the offer of the role of Emile in South Pacific when it was offered to him when the show was about to be revived in the WE? He was perfect for it and he has a great baritone voice. I guess I'll just have to speculate.

because of the media going over and over it- following him to the shops, following him packing his stuff , moving out of HER house -all the I told you stories, the she divorced him headlines- take your pick -

and yes, if he gave up all those career chances for her..put myself in his place I would feel humiliated - but who knows he could have got fed up doing all the hanging around, I don't know how he feels, he may be relieved, they might still be friends, but just can't see marriage working with their career commitments-who knows

I suspect the divorce was filed in her name because she is a landed immigrant of twenty years or so residenceand she is the mother of two American citizens. I don't know what Darius's immigration status is in the US. He's married to a Canadian not an American.

I guess we'll never rely know y they r getting divorced. We cud keep speculating. My opinion is that to me with what ive read, It was filed in Natashas name and Natasha made the decision then D saying its a mutual decision and then a friend saying its over finances. Is that really a gud enough reason to get divorced. Just seems to me that there might of been a more serious reason than it being over finances. Doesn't seem like a gud enough reason. We all Know how much they loved each other. But again speculation. Maybe there was no real reason and no1s to blame. Maybe we shouldnt be blaming any1. I hope they are both doing ok.

Re the love handles, pip, Warden is a hardened soldier with two purple hearts BUT as First Sergeant he's practically running the company, in the frequent absence of his superior officer. That means lots of paperwork, so he may not be in tip top condition. He's not a sportsman and doesn't do drills and training with the men.

 

Maybe it would be more authentic for Darius not to be too toned.

 

Anyway, I think he's got more important things on his mind just now and press night isn't until 23rd October.

 

 

I hope Natasha will divorce him and let it be and not attempt to do what she did before. Divorce, re-marry the same guy and divorce again!

 

She was the one who came running back to HIM in 2010 as soon as the papers showed him at a charity ball with his new girlfriend and maybe she'd seen Jacqui back with Darius at Popstars To Operastars and at another occasion. By April she was back with Darius in Paris but he was still involved in the UK with Carmen. By June she was strolling with him down the streets in LA, wearing his ring again.
