Posted March 24, 200619 yr Young Jeezy has been released on bail after being arrested on weapons charges following a Miami Beach shootout. Gunfire erupted last week after a fight between a group of people Young Jeezy was with broke out. A passer-by was shot at after refusing to hand over his video camera that he was using to record the fight. Jeezy and his friends fled the scene, only to be later stopped by the authorities. Police found two semi-automatic firearms in the vehicle he was riding in, leading to his arrest. His lawyers say the guns found weren't his. "Jeezy adamantly denies that any of the weapons belonged to him and I am confident that Jeezy will be vindicated,†Jeezy's lawyer, Scott Leemon, says. The rapper will appear in court to face the charges on March 31 and, if convicted, could face up to 10 years in prison.
