August 19, 201311 yr Very close in the end then. Not really a surprise. My issue with Halo is I vastly prefer Already Gone so it always comes off sounding a little less good.

August 19, 201311 yr Even though I gave "Telephone" a 10 it was very much the right result in the end, it wouldn't have felt right at all to have a Lady Gaga song win. Not that "Halo" is my favourite from Beyoncé by any stretch (even in terms of ballads), a pretty nice song that's been overplayed but a much better representation.

Telephone shouldn't have been #1 only because she's not the main vocalist and I've never really got the hype about Crazy In Love.
