Good Predictions Roo :D

I was going to bump this up come Sunday night!

Only ONE person predicted any of one of the relegated clubs to go down (Craig). To be fair to me (and us all) Palace were looking likely to beat the lowest ever points tally prior to Holloway's sacking. Most people under-predicted Liverpool, and over-predicted Manchester United. My overall predictions were atrocious mind.

Sorry Nicky, but 'Moyes is the right choice' just gave me a great smile :D

And Mark bigging up Fulham haha :D

I think we all over predicted Swansea with yourself majorly over predicting Norwich.

I thought Norwich would be awesome. They bought good players in the summer. But they failed miserably. If Van Wolswinkel could have actually scored goals I don't think they would have gone down. Hull would have gone down if they didn't buy Long and Jelavic for example.

Super glad the Black Cats stayed up last night. Especially since a lot of you had written them off!

Again like Palace, they were absolute certs to go down with Di Canio in charge.

To be fair, they haven't been that bad to watch, or at least weren't when they were trying to accommodate so much flair, which is what I said, they were just a lot shitter than I thought, they then got rid of all the players it was lovely to watch (Berbatov, Ruiz) and got even worse.

re: Burnley, Dyche has done this season one of the most amazing jobs I've ever seen in management, purely incredible. To have a small, mid-table Championship squad, lose your first choice keeper, best midfielder and the division's top scorer, and then have nothing to spend, and get over 90 points, it's absolutely exceptional! I'd predict any team that did that to finish bottom again now!

I thought Norwich would do really well too, the signings of Olsson, Fer, Hooper, Redmond and van Wolfswinkel really should've kicked them on to be a comfortable mid-table team aiming at the top 10.

For all the 'Your only challenging because you don't have CL' shouts, most did still predict we'd finish outside of the top 4 (me including. Thought we'd finish 5th)

Shows how much we've exceeded expectations to finish 2nd (probably)

That's because everyone still expected Man Utd to be solid, if not title challengers, and Spurs to really push on. We've certainly taken advantage of those two issues, but again, I expect we will push on massively next season again.
