February 23, 201411 yr I can't see the three coming from anywhere other than the bottom 6. Palace certainly aren't out of it, got a tough set of fixtures left. Norwich have Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd in their last four matches. Think Mel and Magath can get their teams out of trouble. I had a bet pre-season of Cardiff, Sunderland and Palace to go down. It could certainly happen.

February 23, 201411 yr West Brom I think are ultimately too solid to go down, I'd say it's three from the bottom four and of those I'd back Sunderland to escape. Unless Palace start to stutter, which is very possible.

Unless Palace start to stutter, which is very possible. Not sure. All it takes is a team to string 2-3 good results together and it drags others back in. Look at West Ham. There's about 10-12 teams that could go down - the key to them is having a player who can score 10+ league goals a season. West Ham were unlucky Carroll was injured. It's why the buys of Jelavic and Long were smart. It's also probably why Norwich are struggling so much, and justifies why no other big clubs were in for Wolfswinkel. Massive win for Norwich today. Throughout March they play the teams around them, so it's entirely theirs to lose before the run in against the big clubs. Although their recent Premier League record against the big teams is surprisingly good!
February 24, 201411 yr Think Rovers will get relegated from League 2. I doubt it, unfortunately. They're eight points clear of Torquay, with a much better goal difference as well. It's their home form that's keeping them up. Their away record is dire though, just one away win so far. Edited February 24, 201411 yr by OutstandingMike
February 24, 201411 yr I see Cotterill is finally showing all of his qualities. He's still done better than SOD.
February 24, 201411 yr He's still done better than SOD. I always said he would... to start with. But he'll only take you to League 2. He's an atrocious manager.

Their away record is dire though, just one away win so far. League 2 is so tight, literally apart from the Top 7, any team can realistically go down. If it wasn't for O'Toole Rovers would be even worse off than they are currently. I think Torquay and Bristol Rovers will go down personally. Other teams around them look like they might find a bit of form.

February 27, 201411 yr West Brom have suspended Nicolas Anelka after he was given a five-match ban and fined £80,000 for his quenelle gesture. What now for Anelka? End of a football career?
February 27, 201411 yr West Brom have suspended Nicolas Anelka after he was given a five-match ban and fined £80,000 for his quenelle gesture. What now for Anelka? End of a football career? Leave England most likely. Interesting to see West Brom distancing themselves from the whole situation - unlike Liverpool and Chelsea who offered their full support to both. However I guess in both of the other cases there was no definitive conclusive proof that racism had been committed.
February 28, 201411 yr You lot were right, Soldado is fukkin useless, the Spanish Jason 'pineapple head' Lee, couldn't put the ball in the net if it was 50ft wide Thank god for Adebayor, 10 goals now in 12 games Disgrace of AVB to leave him out all season
February 28, 201411 yr Oh come on, don't be completely daft. Have you ever watched Adebayor before? He's a complete moron who only plays when he can be arsed. I bet you weren't calling AVB a disgrace for leaving out a striker who scored 9 in 38 at the beginning of the season. Even since Sherwood's put him in he's been utterly woeful a couple of times.
February 28, 201411 yr Adebayor has all the talent but he only plays when he's arsed. Isn't his contract up for renewal soon? Better than Soldado of course, feel for the guy. Just shot on confidence.
February 28, 201411 yr Soldado's record both here and in Spain doesn't lie. Good player, no confidence as Roo said.
March 1, 201411 yr Soldado's record both here and in Spain doesn't lie. Good player, no confidence as Roo said. Just not a Premier League player. See Morienties when he came to Liverpool - pretty poor. Then he goes to Lyon (I think) and continues to be decent for a bit longer. His games just not suited. Gotta feel for the guy. The summer 2013 transfer window for Spurs was bloody awful. The only saving grave is Eriksen.
