For what I saw at Cheltenham on Trials Day then I don't think he will from a courageous performance from the late Many Clouds.

 

Looks a weak renewal of the Gold Cup.

 

 

Sizing John finally winning a Grade 1 after finishing behind Douvan in 7 attempts by winning the Irish Gold Cup.

From what I saw, Empire of Dirt and Don Poll run a good trial for the Grand National.

Will be fun and interesting to do prognostications in some of the derbies again this year, as were done last horse racing season.....didn't do too badly, from what I recall....watch me do abysmally bad this year....

Faugheen, Annie Power, Don Cossack, Coneygree, Sprinter Sacre, Min are either been retired or out of the festival. Poor Vautour though back in November. :(

They'll be for sure the next class of great champions this year at the Cheltenham Festival with potentially Douvan in the Champion Chase, Unoknowhatimeanharry in the Stayer's Hurdle and Native River in the Gold Cup.

 

 

Multiple Group 1 winner Sole Power has been retired at the age of 10. He was a good sprinter on his day, a good horse.

 

 

I think Bristol De Mai will win the Cheltenham Gold Cup and possibly Sizing John.

 

 

With 8 days to go until the four-day showcase begins.
