August 8, 201311 yr A download costs 5 cents in Korea therefore the high sales.... besides maybe.the sales indicate overall sales not weekly sales...
August 8, 201311 yr Woo a place for me to shine :D. The download on Korea isn't because of the 50% sale (which initially, everyone thought it was) on Melon, but rather it seems like the normal trend now. If you take into consideration of the decrease in digital aggregation and rapid increase of downloads, it doesn't make any sense at all. One would assume that some special package now includes legal downloads when purchasing the monthly membership of such music sites e.g. Melon itself, Cyworld, bugs, Naver, etc. Also, the sales for f(x)'s Rum Pum Pum Pums 1.6million is ONE week sale and not its overall as the link links to the weekly chart. Overall sales aren't published by Gaon until half year/end year charts come into place and that's when we know the overall sales of songs. Until then, one can only add and estimate.
