was very dissappointed to not know, that Darius was giving a concert in my old home town of Greenock, Scotland, last Friday. The occasion was the opening of new arts centre, attended by Prince Edward. Nowadays, i live near Glasgow, so it would have been so easy to go to Greenock, but there was no mention of tickets etc:,and i only saw it in the paper, when it was too late to go,as seems to have happenedto me over the years of supporting Darius;quite a few times! Very frustrating! Did any of the rest of you know? (Sorry, i didn't see it in paper. itwas on the S.t.v. regional news last friday,so far too late to do anything about it. Mabey, no tickets were available to the public, with Prince Edward opening it. AH WELL"Let us know about all your appearances, in future, Darius". "Not good enough,"You must do better"!!

As soon as we knew, it was put up on Archive and News. A couple of girls did manage to go to it

Beacon Arts tweeted that Darius, Keith Jack, Scott Davies and the Opera Ghosts will be performing at their Royal gala on Friday 16th August.

You'll notice I posted the info about the Prince and Princess of Wales 30th Anniversary concert on Sunday 27th October in its own thread.

 

I don't know what is for the best for things with short notice. The problem with an individual thread is that if no-one else posts in the thread, it drops down, whereas the bits and pieces one tends to be very near the top.

I knew about it from Archive and News, sadly I live in London not Scotland so couldn't go but am very glad a couple of people made it.
