Britney's management are being incredibly smart by putting her on a Miley single as she's smashing the world right now (her album pre-orders have managed to outperform Katy Perry everywhere). Weather we like it or not, Miley is easily the biggest popstar on the planet right now, the amount of hype / attention she's getting is unbelievable, weather you like Britney or not it's going to help Britney tons.While that's true about her pre-orders, Katy Perry hasn't released another track from her album and we're still yet to see the video for 'Roar'. Katy will open with bigger sales I'd imagine. I think Katy attracts more "casual buying" public than predominantly fanbase (obviously she has one - a huge one - but she's far more commercially appealing to the casual listener/buyer.) Katy is definitely (from what I can see) the biggest pop star on the planet (especially in the US) right now. She's literally unstoppable atm.
