July 15, 20204 yr S6 and 7 were shown just a few days behind Australia I think but some of the previous series (well 1-4 I think) were like way later. They used to show the entire season before we even got episode 1 but now I think we’ll get them quicker.
July 15, 20204 yr I recently watched season 7 (no idea why it took me so long to watch it!) :o but wow, it's my favourite so far.. Seeing that and the trailer have got me hyped for season 8!
July 20, 20204 yr You watched 7 at the perfect time tbh Sarah as it’ll be fresh in your mind when 8 comes along. I’m currently rewatching and I think it’s amongst the best seasons. Definitely better than what 5 and 6 were and even they were great. It just went WILD and those final two episodes were so dramatic, heartbreaking, shocking etc so many emotions at once. I think the final episode of 7 might be the best ever episode of the entire show so far.

July 24, 20204 yr I’ve seen that there’s new titles for S8! The vocals on the theme have gone. It’s kinda like S1s opening but more updated.

July 24, 20204 yr Jase I’ve spoiled something below incase you don’t want to know but I’ve seen a few tweets from people who’ve episode 1 so I’ve put them In the spoiler tags below x Those titles look so weird without Celia Ireland (Liz’s) name on them. I’ve heard from some people who’ve seen episode 1 at a special screening that Joan is in the episode but you don’t find out how she got out the box in the series opener. I’ve also heard about a scene involving Boomer and the newcomer Lou Kelly.
July 28, 20204 yr The season 8 premiere was very good! Like a new era for the show (the final one :( ) but it was very strong. I liked the new characters. Lou was fantastic just what we needed a new strong inmate. The show just feels so weird without Liz! I’m so intrigued on where this season is headed. Will Rita end up back in wentworth, Will queen Ferguson. Marie playing mind games and how will she get back into general.
August 12, 20204 yr What the f**k was this week's episode? Absolute filler, and didn't even mention the major cliffhanger from episode 2. It served no purpose whatsoever. If you removed this episode from the whole season, it would make absolutely no difference whatsoever. I'm so confused.

I’m guessing though that because Ferguson will likely be a key part later in the season they didn’t wanna use her too soon and it keeps that suspense too for her to not feature in the episode. Judy seems like she could be interesting though but Ann is definitely a villain now!

To be honest, I'm not a fan of rushed plotting like they pulled with the introduction of Judy Bryant - she basically integrated with the cast within minutes of arriving and all of a sudden took charge over Allie; with them sort of revamping Allie for her Top Dog part I'd expect her to at least be a bit more weary and less trusting of new people. I realise they only have ten episodes per season, but couldn't they at least have plotted this out for two or so episodes? As for Ferguson - I bet she has amnesia and will end up thinking she is Kat Maxwell.
August 13, 20204 yr Episode 3 was the most disappointing for me out of all seasons. Totally random, didn't follow from episode 2, the addition just seemed like completely the wrong time. It's like it was plucked from the beginning of a season?
