March 13, 201411 yr Author So sad Madeline isn't through, I think she could've won after performing her second song 'Error' and I believe it was a potential Eurovision winner too. She should have performed 'Error' in the first round as that would've guaranteed getting through to round 2 in my opinion. :(
March 13, 201411 yr Author If any of you haven't heard 'Error' then you should give it a listen, it is amazing! UykMbW_MAWM
March 13, 201411 yr Molly SNUBBED in the preview of other entries. Maybe they couldn't get rights to show a clip? Otherwise not amused haha
March 13, 201411 yr Author Well that was very unexpected but she was in my top 3 so it's a good choice! :D Still disappointed for Madeline though.
March 13, 201411 yr Glad she won out of the final 2 but i dont think the song is strong enough to win the whole ESC.
March 13, 201411 yr I don't see this entry doing much at all for Germany but I respect them for sending something completely different every year. It's mildy melodic but it's not going to whip voters or juries up into a frenzy. It's a bit dated and corny, which is at odds with her image
March 13, 201411 yr "Is it right" doesn't do anything for me, at least on first listen. It doesn't really go anywhere.
March 14, 201411 yr What an utterly BIZARRE way of going about choosing an entry. So the first round songs - that people were ACTUALLY voting for when it came to putting people to the second round - never stood a chance of being the entry? What on earth's the point? You only have to look at MF et al to see how ludicrous the premise is. Quick! Let's vote through The Moniker in the first round with Oh My God and have him in the final with I Want To Be Chris Isaak!
March 14, 201411 yr Clearly Germany's genius new approach to Eurovision only lasted as long as a couple of Lena entries

No, both songs from each artist were able to be selected. Elaiza actually won with their first round song whereas the other superfinalist Unheilig was in the final with their second round song.
March 14, 201411 yr Author Yeah, it's just a shame Madeline never got to perform her second song 'Error' as I think she could've won with that song and done extremely well in Eurovision with it. If only she had performed it in the first round!
