I can't wait for next weeks chart. I think 5 new entries (Jason Derulo, Jessie J, Miley Cyrus, Avicii and Birdy) or even 6 (if Britney releases) have the chance of going top 10 next week, and with such new songs like 'Hold On, We're Going Home', 'Counting Stars' and 'Same Love' seeming to be on the rise I think we will see some big falls from Ellie, Avicii and Klangkarussell to the bottom of the top 10, or even just outside the it, which will be exciting seeing as it seems they have been in the top 5 for ages.

I think Hold It Against Me was held back for 2 weeks or so? Till the World Ends was released straight away and peaked at #11 on iTunes, so if Britney releases straight away again I'm not sure if she'll get in the top 10. Maybe Scream & Shout will help her chart success in the UK, but it's been about 6 months since that song was in the charts now, so it might be too late to benefit from it.

'When You Were Young' at number 74! Amazing. :wub: Such a brilliant song to witness live! It was the song that made me realise I was at a Killers gig.

Talk Dirty is the most excruciatingly try-hard song i've heard in ages and would be one of the worst chart toppers in a while. Failing all else, campaign to get Wynter's Dirty Talk up there instead please?

Couldn't be happier for One Republic having a slow burning hit! Very well deserved, thought it would go unnoticed. Top 4 with momentum is incredible. I bought the song when it just hit the top 200 :lol:

I think 'Work Bitch' needs a 'Roar' release strategy. release to radio next week and put up for pre order. Then release mid October with the video and maybe an X Factor performance. ;)

YES at the first two, but I was never big on 'Boys'. 'I'm A Slave 4 U' remains her best song by far imo. It was like her own 'Dirrty'/'We Can't Stop'. :lol:

On itunes the album is currently at #159 and the deluxe version is at #82.

Who would have guessed even a week ago that Drake would be at #2 and OneRepublic at #3? :o

On air on sale/post album singles always benefit way more in quiet sales periods, Drake will probably finish the week on 40-45k with OneRepublic on 35k at most perhaps. Good but normally only good enough for #5-8, the release schedule's gone a bit quiet!
