I'd actually be glad if there were a few quiet weeks ahead. It'd allow Drake, OneRepublic and Macklemore to get higher peaks officially than they'd otherwise get. Next week will undoubtedly push them all down. :( Avicii, Miley, Jason and Jessie are all definites for top 10 surely. If Britney releases midweek, I can see it probably debuting at #11 at best.

Who would have guessed even a week ago that Drake would be at #2 and OneRepublic at #3? :o

wow, never saw that coming, wierd top 3

Don't expect that, will.i.am is producing her new album :kink:

With will.i.am you can expect just about anything. I quite like his new song with Dizzee. But surely he's not producing every single song? I heard Mike Will Made It has some songs on the album.

I think 'Work Bitch' needs a 'Roar' release strategy. release to radio next week and put up for pre order. Then release mid October with the video and maybe an X Factor performance. ;)

Um, do you not remember Britney's last X Factor performance? I don't think she'll ever do one again if the media are going to bully her so much over miming.

Gwon OneRepublic! 'Counting Stars' has now overtaken 'Stop And Stare' as my fave of theirs. Strange their album is still doing nothing even with this single smashing (it re-entered at #90 a couple of weeks ago but dropped straight back out of the top 100 the next week).
Avicii, Miley, Jason and Jessie are all definites for top 10 surely.

Wouldn't say so for Avicii, it's bombed worldwide (understandably, it isn't bad IMO but it certainly isn't a hit and what an underwhelming way to follow up 'Wake Me Up'). I'd say Jessie isn't a certainty either but that's probably wishful thinking more than anything else. Jason will definitely be #1 though and I could actually see Miley entering top 3, seems to be doing big things worldwide.

I actually really like 'Talk Dirty' at the moment, I can tell it's something I'll get bored of very quickly but until then it's the best thing Jason has put out since his third single by far.

Was hoping CHVRCHES would make the top 40 this time but the hype just doesn't seem to be there :( Maybe it would have been better for them to release 'Lies', as inferior as it is.

Is Robbies new one available already or is it a pre order?

It's not free when you pre-order the album. You're charged 99p (I assume) for it and then automatically charged the rest when the album comes out.

Some progress for Haim FINALLY :cheer: And CHVRCHES too, hope they make the top 40 next wk

Am I the only one expecting big things from Nelly/Pharrell/Nicki?

I don't know. This song is a different direction to Hey Porsche, it's more like his older songs. The beat is nice, but I wish it had a more obvious melody. Thrift Shop, Wild, Talk Dirty, Work and Love More are similar to this, but they all get stuck in your head easier since they have a distinct melody in their beats.

I think there's another song it reminds me more of but I can't remember it. A song that's pretty much identical to it.

Anyone know why Imagine Dragons It's Time is climbing back into the top 30...looked to be on its way out last week!

People say it's like Drop It Like It's Hot. Personally it reminds me of Flap Your Wings by Nelly. Neither of those are pretty much identical though, but they're quite similar.
