I hope they don't put album 6 back anymore it's getting stupid. I'd love to hear new music from mcbusted as well but, with the release of LIOTR they might as well get the album out too!

Speaking of the single, it's dropping on itunes already...

Yeah it is :-( They just performed on Xtra factor but that won't make a difference as yesterdays episode grabbed only 200,000 viewers.

They have no promotion left now.

BTW Royal Albert Hall DVD + CD now moved to end of December.

I Tunes Now

Mcbusted Mix-12

Radio Edit-20

Love Is On The Radio (Normal Version)-36 & 153

Silent Aggression Mix-59

Hopeful Live Mix-69

If it carries on falling at this rate, it could end up missing the Top 10 :(

They're still #6 combined and have like 3 CDs, so it's a safe bet I think.

Edit: It's up! :cheer:

#2 in the mids!!! :D it'll almost certainly end up in the Top 10 now, phew! Maybe even Top 5?

Things are looking up...Looking up....There's Mcfly Magic everywhere you go :)

Glad the guys are getting another top 10 Hit. I had No doubts it will go top 10 (even with Next to No promotion) but I didn't expect as high as 2 in the mid weeks.

31,000 sold so far is pretty good :)

That's great! It has slowed down now though, so sales over the next few days will be minimal. I think it'll clear 40k+ and might be low top 5.

Mcfly are on Friday Download at 6 on CBBC channel.

More dates added to the Mcbusted Tour today (Went on sale this Morning)

Dublin

Belfast

Brighton

Birmingham (4th One)

Bournemouth

From what I've been reading it sounds like Album 6 wont be around any time soon now, probably after McBusted material at this rate.

Harry apparently wants them to at least release their own singles for the fans if not the album but management have their own ideas. Not sure what is going to follow this release now.

Matt Willis mentioned 2 weeks of exciting work with McBusted starting next week - wonder what that is all about?

Where have you heard all this from?

Management should get lost.I have always though their Management were useless. They should of got rid of them back in 2007/2008 when they left Island records.

People who met them today at the Izzy's Attic pop up store spoke to them quite in depth about it. They sound quite fed up for their own fans tbh. Management keep saying its not the right time for the album hence it getting pushed back, basically.

Apparently they're sitting on so many recorded songs, at this rate they'll feel past the feel and style of album 6 and it'll be scrapped and restarted. :/

EDIT: The more I think about it, the more I think scrapping it for now is the right choice actually. This McBusted idea has totally taken over and actually its more of a distraction than an aid in terms of promo. The best they could do would be to create hype through McBusted, maybe release a McBusted single or two with the band during the tour and then when its finished build on the hype and success of the tour with a new McFly album, whether its the one they planned to release now or something a bit different.

If they are going to release anything else as McFly before the tour, they need to stay focused and actually promote it on television. But the demand for McBusted and nostalgia clearly far outweighs the demand from fed up and desperate McFly fans and so who could blame them to chuck it all aside, as hard a decision for even the band that would be for now. This track has only managed to get top 10 (I'm calling it early, I know) because of various versions including some of the McBusted hype (not that the McBusted version was promoted well at all) and so unless by charting it gains some extra fans, it'll fall out of the charts very quickly and unfortunately will be just as easily forgotten. They've obviously shown frustration for the lack of airplay, too. BBC Radio completely ignored the track in particular. They need to work out a better strategy.

No doubt as a band they could easily just keep going like this with the odd single and album there not making a major impact, because their tours always sell well as they're an incredible live band and as an unsigned act they can pick and choose their working days and profits as much as they'd like, but I always get the feeling with McFly that they're always just a few steps back from the real and reachable possibility of making an impact and being at the top of the industry. Whether that was the management's bad decisions in the past and present or they've actually been carrying them over some huge cracks in the pavements I really don't have the inside knowledge for, but what I can take from all of this is that maybe what will happen will be for the best and I can wait another year.

I agree about holding back the album til after McBusted. However to scrap the album completely and re-start would just be a huge mistake in my opinion!

What's to stop them releasing a 3 singles pre-album? A 2nd single in Feb/March and the third single at the end of the McBusted tour with the album to follow?

On another note - pleased to see them score another top 10 :)

Yeah, A single or two in 2014 will be good but I doubt it will happen.

Another top 10 hit under their belts.

Thanks for that.

I do wonder if Mcfly will get rid of the Managers in 2014?

After having them for over 10 years that would be an awkward split! I can't see it happening unless they really balls up the McBusted reunion - which is doubtful so far!

Album 6 on Hold.....Mcbusted Album next year. A number of record labels keen to sign them up including Sony.
