He's on a tour of Asia at the moment & heading to S Korea I believe, that should be interesting seeing as he will be next door to his pal in N Korea :unsure:

Yep, the Donald's in Japan currently.....I just gave my younger brother a wee bit of a hard time as his flight from Tokyo Thailand was delayed 2.5 hours, telling him he missed his chance to shake the president's hand. He's none too fond of the Donald, him being a hard core liberal of a Democrat....

Seeing him cheered like some kind of a hero by the American troops in Japan made me feel a bit :puke2:

 

I just can't understand how they can think him worth cheering. :blink:

I guess they believe in their President Laura & that is why they do it ... reports say people are getting used to his methods of presidency & that they feel he is more transparent :huh:

It is really sad what has happened to Ant McPartland , I never realised it was so serious, I hope he has got himself together & can get back to some form of normality

Yes, at this point, things are okay with me.....took me some gentle pestering to find out how me girlfriend's doing since she's been back in Georgia USA from the end of August....only news I got from her a couple of weeks ago was that she was involved in a car accident, which added to the crazy stuff going on at home for her. I know she was scheduled for 3 tests during all this time she's been home, and, I figure she'll tell ne what's going on with those tests when she comes back down to Florida for a visit, and to help out a friend of hers with a couple of businesses the friend of hers has going on...The humidity has finally started to drop here in Florida, making it much more comfortable, all the way round here...

Let's hope he is fit enough to do the IAC , I think he needs the distraction of work to get him into some sort of normality

Am I the only one thinking all this Hoo-ha about the treatment of women is a bit ott , I see Michael Parkinson has said that he might have been a bit flirty back in the day but would not dare do so now . The culture was different back in the day , can anyone remember those Carry On films with all that slap & tickle , it was totally accepted then & a lot of the men been accused were part of that era . I blame the institutions like Westminster ( independent body ) that they do not have rules in place about MP's behaviour & also where people can make complaints & be listened to & not have to go to the press & that these mp's can be fired for their behaviour. I think what has been happening in Hollywood is disgusting but not surprising , there was always rumour of the casting couch etc

I think the PC level it's getting to now where it's "inappropriate" to say "you smell nice" is taking away the severity of some of the claims. There's such a wide spectrum of offences. Some totally need dealing with now and are long overdue and some prove that the world has lost it's sense of humour.

 

MP's behaviour generally seems to be the lowest of the low both sides of the pond. I have very little respect for any of them bar a very few.

Although I have to confess I didn't watch I'm A Celebrity tonight. I haven't watched it for ages.

 

I did watch Howards End though and it was excellent. Part two tonight.
