I am sure that he will have a lovely time Laura, it is a really lovely place, I would love to go back there at some stage , really some amazing sights

It's the second time he's been - he has a friend over there. He loved it in Kruger National Park. It looked wonderful. Home tomorrow. :)

it's a brilliant statue -all around the base there are black and white photos of fellow suffragists.

 

Lots of people were taking photos of her and someone had left some flowers there.

 

She was quite inspiring to see. :)

I feel for you Tess -we have had absolutely gorgeous weather in Epsom. Sunny and warm. Even warmer tomorrow.

It turned out to be a lovely day yesterday Laura but a right sharp breeze came up the river yesterday evening & made it feel rather cold , it is supposed to be good today & tomorrow & then break during the week

Weather beautiful here today, breezy but warm .

 

I watched some of the wedding , I thought Meghan was absolutely gorgeous, her dress was simple & yet looked stunning, she had the most beautiful headpiece. Her Mum looked fantastic , Windsor looked fantastic, especially the long avenue leading up to the castle, I loved the royal cavalry...

 

I am so sick of seeing bad news stories on tv it was lovely to see a happy story for a change with everyone dressing up.

 

 

I loved every minute of the royal wedding :wub: and I'm not a Royalist by a long shot.

 

The whole thing was just such a blast and very special.

 

The UK on a sunny May day is the most beautiful place ^_^

I saw some of the highlights they kept showing on this side of the pond, with one of them re-airing the entire wedding last night....I had to work yesterday, so I really didn't fuss over it. Meghan did look adorable in her dress....
