September 30, 201311 yr Author 35 is the 2nd showing from Kelly, written by Avril Lavigne is the stunning "Breakaway". One of my favourite records from 2006 now and I ain't a big fan of Embrace but this is just gorgeous, the lovely "Nature's Law" is number 34. I hardly doubt "Walk Away" would be one of my favourites if it wasn't for that hilarious video and the fact that she looks quite hot in it too, Kelly shows up again at 33. The final two are MAGNIFICENT songs imo, the first is the excellent "Underneath your Clothes" from Shakira this being her first of just two appearances in this countdown and the other reached no.1 on my personal chart back in 2008 and spent an impressive 33 weeks in the chart whilst it became Morrisons highest charting single in the UK after being performed on a Christmas Girls Aloud show. "Broken Strings" features those lovely vocals from Nelly Furtado and still is one of my favourite songs of the past 5 years and slowly of all time. BS finishes as my 31st tune of the 00's 35. Kelly Clarkson – Breakaway 34. Embrace – Natures Law 33. Kelly Clarkson – Walk Away 32. Shakira – Underneath your Clothes 31. James Morrison Ft Nelly Furtado – Broken Strings Edited September 30, 201311 yr by *Rob*

October 2, 201311 yr 40. Pink – Just Like a Pill Amazing! My 2nd favourite song from her! (Behind 'Don't Let Me Get Me'). Such a classic! 39. Kelly Clarkson – Since You Been Gone QUEEN KELLY. 38. Lighthouse Family – I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free 'High' is a thousand and ten times better than this dullard. Sorryyyy ): 37. Mario Winans Ft P Diddy – I Don’t Wanna Know Have so many emotional connections with this song, due to it being played at my best friends funeral. (I don't know why her parents chose this one over her favourite song, 'Hero' by Mariah! 36. Christina Aguilera – Fighter I keep forgetting about this under looked gem! So good! 35. Kelly Clarkson – Breakaway FLAWLESS. 34. Embrace – Natures Law Amazing. Still expecting that Leona cover one day! 33. Kelly Clarkson – Walk Away ANTHEMIC. 32. Shakira – Underneath your Clothes Lovely song, if slightly cheesy. 31. James Morrison Ft Nelly Furtado – Broken Strings It's very good. Overplay definitely removed it's magic, but I still like it! Pleased you liked Walk Away because it's so underrated! Underneath your Clothes was originally 49 but I changed it because it effortless and deserved higher imo. Broken Strings is still on the best songs of the last 5 years and is one of my all time favourite duets  Edited October 2, 201311 yr by *Rob*

I listened to it recently and was expecting it sound cheesy all these years later but it is actually pretty decent :D
October 2, 201311 yr Author Hopefully you'll be able to see why this is very tricky for me as it's now time for my top 30 revelation! First up with the almight "Fix You" is Coldplay who appear for the final time. This song again has a lot of meaning and can help you out in times of need. At no.29, well there is no words to describe how powerful this Ryan Tedder produced record is. Basically "Already Gone" by Kelly is describing how it feels when you have or are about to lose someone very close to your heart. I didn't lose any major family members when this came out but it still hit me emotionally. Complete change of direction from sad to happy now as this 2006 smash was one of my highlights from that year, cycling through the woods on her bike and yet I'm suprised she's even 34 years of age :o she looks about 18 in the video of this song  "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey-Rae is no.28. Next is the 2nd to last appearance by Avril and to think she has been in this industry since she was 16, CRAZY! "Complicated" her very first release which is up there with best debuts ever is #27. Finally with the wacky wedding is "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry and for me it's not too hard to see why it's her best single of the noughties, it's fun, cool & funny. My ideal choice for having a wicked time at a party :D 30. Coldplay – Fix You 29. Kelly Clarkson – Already Gone 28. Corinne Bailey Rae – Put Your Records On 27. Avril Lavigne – Complicated 26. Katy Perry – Hot N Cold
October 2, 201311 yr Author "Never be Lonely" by Pop indie band The Feeling strolls into 25th place whilst "Run" by Snow Patrol is 24 and I still much prefer this to Leona's cover, the guys still have one song to come... wonder what song :kink: 23 is the brilliant "My Life Would Suck Without You" by Queen Kelly again, this woman is dominating my countdown with this now being her 5th of 6 appearances. The song managed 4 weeks at no.1 on my personal chart in 2009 and become her 1st UK no.1 single. The final two consist of Robbie Williams & Lady GaGa. "Feel" for me is Robbie's best single even surpassing Angels. Lady GaGa appears to just miss out on reaching the top 20 with the amazing "Paparazzi". This was her 3rd release from the FAME and has to be contender for best video of the 21st century. Still her best video as well, SO INCREDIBLE. 25. The Feeling – Never be Lonely 24. Snow Patrol – Run 23. Kelly Clarkson – My Life Would Suck Without You 22. Robbie Williams – Feel 21. Lady GaGa – Paparazzi Edited October 2, 201311 yr by *Rob*

Robbie Williams – Feel :puke: 21. Lady GaGa – Paparazzi Great selection Rob. Except Robbie. Edited October 3, 201311 yr by jsg2013

October 3, 201311 yr 30. Coldplay – Fix You Really don't like this much. So, SO dull to me. So overrated! 29. Kelly Clarkson – Already Gone STUNNING. 28. Corinne Bailey Rae – Put Your Records On 27. Avril Lavigne – Complicated 26. Katy Perry – Hot N Cold 25. The Feeling – Never be Lonely One of their best songs! <3 24. Snow Patrol – Run As we were talking yesterday! My 3rd favourite song ever. Adore Leona's version too! 23. Kelly Clarkson – My Life Would Suck Without You POPTASTIC!! 22. Robbie Williams – Feel 21. October 3, 201311 yr Author Into my top 20 now ^_^ First up is the final Black Eyed Peas song and I think this has always remained my favourite by them. The song tells us about saving us from this outburst of disaster in the world e.g. crime, war, poverty, disease etc and how we can help each other. This song means a lot to me and that's why "Where Is the Love" ends up as my 20th record of the noughties :) #20 : Black Eyed Peas - Where Is the Love
October 3, 201311 yr Author In at 19 is what I consider a forgotten gem back in 2001, only reaching no.18 in the UK chart. An Irish girl group managed by Louis Walsh and in this case it's a good thing. "Perfect Bliss" by Bellefire is not forgotten in my opinion because it made it's way into my top 20 :P #19 : Bellefire - Perfect Bliss http://youtu.be/HtbQolcAIP4 No.18 is a right tearjerker, "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera describes her relationship with her dad who passed I pressume. Annoying that it only ever reached the heights of 11 in the charts but still makes appearance here and there years later. #18 : Christina Aguilera - Hurt Edited October 3, 201311 yr by *Rob*
October 3, 201311 yr Author Next at 17 is another Irish group that were also managed by Walsh but had much much better success. I'm talking about The Corrs, one of their signature songs "Breathless" manages a nice high placing here. It sends me back to memories of being a kid and the music that was out then. Aahhhh :D #17 : The Corrs - Breathless 16 comes from Lady GaGa and this time it's the biggest seller from 2009, "Pokerface". #16 : Lady GaGa - Pokerface Number 15 is the last Christina record and it's back to early 2003 where it's a song about loving yourself just the way you are. "Beautiful" is accompanied with a lovely video and it's the song I listen to most from her discography hence it's position as my all time Christina song. #15 : Christina Aguilera - Beautiful http://youtu.be/Bv1lJnTbQ60
October 3, 201311 yr Author #14 : Cascada - Everytime We Touch "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada was a track I was addicted to high heavens with around the time of it's release and even continued till early 2008. It's still by FAR their best output despite the vast majority despising it. One of my all time dance songs. #13 : Avril Lavigne - I'm With You Standout Avril song from 2003 imo, the video is excellent and I feel it's deserved it's place as my favourite Avril song. #12 : Anastacia - Left Outside Alone Powerful record is this one. Ana is rather underrated tbh and this song shows that fact personally. Edited October 3, 201311 yr by *Rob*
October 3, 201311 yr Author The final song before the Top 10 Is, #11 : U2 FT Mary J Bidge - One Flawless duet imo and definetly U2's best song of the noughties for me!!!! Edited October 3, 201311 yr by *Rob*
