' What About Us ' never made it to number one on the television chart!

I did explain this last week, but now that Radio Monitor collate the airplay charts the audience figures for the TV chart are no longer published anywhere, so I have switched to using the TV airplay charts ranked by number of plays. On that chart The Saturdays did get 2 weeks at number one.

So how are the Year to Date charts going to be compiled from Audience figures if the weekly figures are not published anywhere?

The audience figures are still published for Radio, but for TV it will be ranked by total number of plays instead.

Checking the y/e 2012 TV play chart in C+, they used only the number of plays anyway.

It was about September last year that the Audience for TV appeared on the Neilsen files we got sent. Around the same time, Music Week started re-ranking their chart so the published one was sorted differently to what we got. The YE data is exactly what we where supplied - Neilsen get upset if it's changed in any way, which is, of course, only right.
