Really great opener, sets things up really well for the rest of the season. Didn't know until the other day that Victoria Moroles wasn't returning, shame to see Liam's pack down one already but ah well.

 

Also how CUTE is Nolan?????

i'd say it was a great opener, loved the scenes with lydia (<3) and the spiderwebs, can't wait to see the rest of the season.

And now that I've caught up with everything (yes, I am back home)...

REVIEW AND PREDICTION TIME!!!!!

 

I don't think I've ever been excited about how a Teen Wolf season will go since... 3B? With all the hyped returns and stuff, there should be a lot to cover and a lot to digest, so this episode was a good appetizer. It's more psychological, which kinda echoes 3B in a sense, so there should be a nice balance between suspense and action.

 

Judging by Stiles' uniform and what I know from watching Quantico I'm speculating that he is going to be an analyst (some field work but mostly dealing with computer science and stuff). LMAO @ Derek somehow being wanted by the FBI but the fact that they used Season 1 footage makes me think that they don't know what has happened since then if this is about the Hale fire. It probably leads to a full-on investigation. I do realize how Stydia is endgame and all that but YES JEFF, this is exactly what I needed as a Sterek shipper.

 

I don't think Parrish is going to die but I do think he'll be out of commission for some time. There will be effects of that fear lingering around him though.

 

Interesting to see that the bullet was fired by another hunter though. Possibly a newbie by the way she was carrying herself during the encounter. I still think that whatever is going on will still involve hunters and the secret about the supernatural in Beacon Hills coming out, and judging from the first episode and the trailer I think Nolan will end up being recruited as a hunter. However, despite the bullet being of Argent origin I don't think Chris is involved at all (and he won't be for quite a while since JR was also working on another show, Somewhere Between).

 

Also Sydney becoming a running gag just as much as the elevators :rofl:

Yeah the excitement is building really well already, the premiere felt like it was just whetting our appetite for the rest of the season. Gonna be a crazy ride!

Well there wasn't as much Theo as I'd hoped for in the end, but I really enjoyed his scenes! Can't wait for him to re-integrate, kinda hoping he'll be a good guy and a proper part of Scott's pack.

 

Nice to have Argent back again! Unsure on Scalia, seems a little bit forced right now but we'll see how it progresses. Glad they've not forgotten about Liam's IED, it seemed to vanish after season 4 until now :lol:

Actually thought Brett might be toast for a bit :mellow: guess he's not out of the woods yet (literally or metaphorically)

Actually looking at the superteaser again there is another person tied to the fence with Theo, and I think this means Brett gets captured next episode. I sense another raid incoming.

 

I don't know how I'm gonna cope with two Cody's on my screen at the same time. I could barely deal with those two in the same episode. :drama:

Brett's quite an underrated character I think, would've been nice to have him more integrated with Scott's pack even if he's not actually a part of it. Cody and Dylan S have some fantastic chemistry too, a brilliant love/hate kinda relationship.
