October 2, 201311 yr Wow, even I'm impressed with this video! For the first time in 9 years it does feel like she's got 'it' back, she's not looking dead behind the eyes for the first time since the 'Everytime' video and it shows character, like she's got the wholesome vibe about her back. If she stops miming her concerts I may actually even be back on board with her as a popstar for the first time since way back when too.
October 2, 201311 yr It's actually having a decent effect? Good to see, such a fun-filled video. I hear some moments are "borrowed" from elsewhere but it doesn't really matter when she works it this well. The dancing is passable too.
October 2, 201311 yr I think it'll go top 10 on iTunes! Could be a bit touch and go but I think the momentum will just about carry her in. Hopefully the top 10 effect will boost her further. I resent the claim that 'My Prerogative' featured Deadeyeney!
October 2, 201311 yr She was a robot in that video! Something happened to her in late summer 2004 to completely kill her personality and charisma.
October 2, 201311 yr ^^ Her knee injury caused a complete loss in confidence in herself as a performer.
October 2, 201311 yr Author Idk what has happened to cause this complete turn around. I think her finally getting complete artistic control is one. And she seems very happy with her relationship with her new man and her being able to constantly be with her kids. She seems focused. This album should have been named "Femme Fatale", and her last should have been names "FFIT" for Femme Fatale In Training.
October 2, 201311 yr I am loving the video and I'm loving Britney BUT I don't get the "she is BACK" vibe. People are saying her eyes were looking dead since her blackout, but I tend to disagree. Videos such as "Womanizer" and "If you seek Amy" (and many more) were here to show Britney still had that big charisma and she still knew how to work the camera like a true popstar. I would agree if we talk about her interviews, but as far as videos are concerned, she has done a lot of decent/amazing videos over the last few years. Edited October 2, 201311 yr by Hayzayy
October 2, 201311 yr Author I agree that she done some amazing videos. She shows charisma in all the Circus videos, and in the videos for "I Wanna Go" and "Criminal". And as a whole the video for "Hold It Against Me" is severely underrated. However, not on this level. Her appearance and drive in this video is on par with the videos for "In The Zone".
October 2, 201311 yr Her using her LEGS whilst dancing is something we haven't seen for about NINE YEARS. That is why it feels like she's BACK.
October 2, 201311 yr Ok, so it's not reinventing the wheel but some of the shots are absolutely breathtaking! I have to echo the adoration for the shot of her with the sharks, it's brilliant. I think she's finally switched out of the auto-pilot she's been stuck on for the past few years. Minimal effort required but still being able to instinctively work a camera. It's great to see that she's back on track! Plus any video that has a Lambo is always going to be a winner with me.
October 3, 201311 yr The video has been banned on UK music channels before 10pm, according to The Mirror.
October 3, 201311 yr What are they doing for Miley Cyrus? :\ (But it's from the mirror... so....) They cut out all of the parts in the video where she is naked, so it's just the same 45 seconds repeated, in slow motion.
October 3, 201311 yr Author The video has been banned on UK music channels before 10pm, according to The Mirror. This video is barely risqué. And there is a clean version of the song.
October 3, 201311 yr They said the same about S&M .... AMAZING VIDEO. I heard it out on Tuesday night and I pretty much DIED.
