anybody else seen this? the first two hours or so are really, really great. Then you think it's all over but are forced into a ridiculous, shoehorned final hour that really has no point. disappointing is the word.

 

critics seem to love it tho.

It runs here until October 10 so hopefully I can catch it before then. I've heard great things and judging from the trailer it looks like a far beefier, more chaotic Gatsby.

I hope it will not take the Award for Best Foreign Film. I watched this movie and it's so overrated as hell. "The Hunt" and "The Brocken Circle Breakdown" were much better than this movie. Le Grande Belleza was one of the most disconnected movies that i 'ever watched at cinema. It looks like the director was drunk in that movie..
