The lead single from her second album "Freedom". Out on 24th November and the first play will be this Saturday on BBC Radio 2 during Graham Norton's show.

Glad we're finally getting news of a single! Hoping for something along the lines of 'Teach Me How to Be Loved', because that would just be FAB *.*

Hopefully it's easier Teach Me How To Be Loved or Backtrack/Glitter and Gold rather than Nothing's Real But Love, but excited anyway :D

Digital Spy said this about it last month: It's essentially a big 'n' breezy midtempo number built around the hook: "I hope, I hope, I hope life treats you good." As you can probably decipher from that line, it's about sending a man on his way after a break-up and saying there's no hard feelings. Nobody would confirm it, but we suspect this will be the first single given it sounds like it could have been on Heaven, making it the perfect bridge song between the two.

 

 

This has premiered! I LOVE it on first listen, probably on a par with Backtrack as her best single :wub: Her voice just gives me chills, this sounds so radio ready it could be bigger than any of the Heaven singles.

This is nice enough, but I'm not really in love with it on first listen. Nowhere near her best IMO.

It's nice, will take a few repeated listens, nowhere near as instant as "Backtrack".

I like it obviously because it's Rebecca and I love the way the track builds and the outro is brilliant, however I am finding the 'I hope I hope I hope I hope' bits a bit bland and lacking melodically. This has nothing on 'Backtrack' or 'Teach Me How To Be Loved' but I am going to give it time to grow, I think its a better lead than 'Nothing's Real But Love' though.

There's literally nothing NICER than when you get the QUAD combination OF:

 

· An artist you LOVE (even if she's M0R as FACK but still with a fabulous voice and persona)

· Releasing EASILY their best single to date

· With a song you can totally relate to lyrically at THAT MOMENT in your life

· Knowing it's going to have a fabulous X Factor performance, getting the attention it deserves and charting well

Surely got to be her biggest hit to date with a performance on The X Factor. It's just so catchy and she looks as beautiful as ever in the video.

So good! I actually expected her to flop this time around but now thinking this era could perhaps be bigger for her than the 'Heaven' one.

I'm not a fan of videos that include sequences played by other characters and not the singer herself, but her shots are amazing and the whole package will appeal to people in general.

 

Now I pray the song can be a top10 hit for her and that her album can sell 500k in the run to Christmas. :cheer:

Unsurprisingly FAB. There's just something about her that I just love; I think her vocals give her a slight edge that takes off the MOR feel to her sound, enriches it a bit.
