They're going to end up more well known as reality TV contestants than singers, though.

I think that's already the case. They are by far the prettiest girlgroup members the UK ever had, they go to a lot of fashion shows, do lots of magazine covers, some of them presents TV-show or awards...Hell it wouldn't even surprise me if the girls were considered as models/tv personalities by the general public. It wouldn't be the first time one of these 'release music' as side-project so who knows.

As long as they remain in the public eye someway or another then it doesn't matter.

Even if the public know them better for the TV appearances, at least the public will know them for something. Tbh, when the group decide to split Rochelle will obviously become a presenter/TV personality. The others will probably be forced to continue with Reality TV in order to keep an income! I can't see any of them, as much as I'd like Una and Rochelle to, going solo.

Girls Aloud all tried some solo ventures eventually, so there's no reason why any of the girls wouldn't try. Of course the girls would flop too, but it doesn't mean it won't ever happen. I do think the "moms" of the group might actually not see the point in releasing music right away. They have a husband that keeps the income coming and a baby to look at and spend time with. Vanessa, on the other hand, is the best singer and will probably get a deal from Polydor right away from the split. Mollie will probably have to go into a smaller label, or Polydor will take her but with a small budget, a bit like Nicola.

The other three will keep trying to be in the public eye with some TV stunts and they might eventually release something when they will be bored of the whole TV thing. Afterall, music is their passion. All of them have been trying to do music for YEARS. I can't see them going all 'f*** that shit' before AT LEAST 30-35. I know I know, Una is like 31, but you know, in my eyes, she is a 25 yo woman.

Frankie would be the most successful.

See I can see why you think that as shes the most followed on Twitter, known widely for S-Club days and the whole Dougie thing. But I don't think she'd make it as a solo artist.

(Or were you being sarcastic :P )

I disagree, Rochelle is everywhere. It will be her at least in public profile. As an artist Frankie might be more successful, but Rochelle has the best voice. (Although that doesn't always work when you look at Girls Aloud with Cheryl/Nadine).

Hell Yeah reminds me of that old band 'Lovebites' who sang that song You Broke My Heart, So I Broke Your Nose XD it also sounds like an Avril Lavigne track from the Girlfriend era

I think they will all be on TV in some form, but more specifically...

Rochelle - will release a single will Marv (like Peter and Katie lolly), TV personality for sure, maybe talent judge, reality show at home with her and Marv on itv2 [Cheryl]

Frankie - will have a stab at a single, probably become a collumist and TV personality. Maybe even go into management in the music industry [hint of Mel B]

Mollie - she will be the VB of the band and focus on fashion, regular in magazines and such [Victoria Beckham/Nicola Roberts]

Ness - complete music focus, CBB/IACGMOOH! type thing at some point, release music to critically acclaim, not commercial [Melanie C]

Una - very similar to Roch, would release something, TV chatter, clothing line for kids, radio DJ maybe? [Emma Bunton type]

Why are these demo's leaking?

Because someone just found the CD with the tracks on it.

I think you're fairly spot on with this actually!

EAT YOUR HEART OUT ZERRIE!

It might actually make sense if the next single is out on match 2nd as rumoured.

There's always 6 weeks between the announcement and the single, so if this holds up, we'll find out this week coming what the next single is. and also the time between single releases has been increasing since what about us.

What About Us - Gentleman - 3 months

Gentleman - Disco Love - 4 months

Disco Love -??? - 5 months (ala 2nd/9th/16th March) :D

Completely wrong strategy. They should've followed up Gentleman within 3 months (mid-September) and then followed up Disco Love within 3 months again (mid-December). If they released Not Giving Up in time for the few weeks before Christmas, they could have got another top 10 with how quiet the release schedule was. Even 45-50k was enough for #1 on a couple of the weeks! Then followed up with Leave a Light On to sell the album and close the era in February/March.
