10 | Turn It Into Love

*FACT* Ryan Reynolds had this song and indeed Kylie herself on his mind in that scene, hence the morning glory.
What a gem of a song this is. A Japan only single from her first album, hence why there is no proper video, not that I could find anyway.
Impossibly catchy with an addictive chorus, I know all the words to this, yes indeedy. That's how sad I am.
Not performed all that often but the mash-up with Light Years on Homecoming is the best thing about that show and I lost my mind when it happened, just
so brilliant.

Such a good song, I didn't pay attention to it that much until Homecoming, but I agree about how amazing that performance was!

(btw off topic but heyho - who's the hotty in your sig? :kink:)

09 | Red Blooded Woman

Phoebe Buffay is a red blooded woman y'all.
A single from the ever popular Body Language album and one of the best songs to come from it, certainly the best of all the singles.
I can remember hearing this on the radio and being pretty hooked on it, I wasn't that keen on Slow and this was the song that started me on the path of
Kylie loonisn.
As ever, the video is full of sexualness. Such sexualness includes; dancing on the back of a truck, changing clothes in the back of some random woman's car with said
woman staring a little too suggestively, getting bendy and dirty in the back of another truck, dancing about with a bunch of chav-ish looking gents. The list goes on.
I certainly would have put devil well ahead of red blooded woman. Devil is a classic song, whereas RBW isnt.

I don't base my opinions on whether a song is a "classic", I base them on how much I like the actual song....

I loved 'Red Blooded Woman' at the time but it's not stood the test of time well for me at all.

Second weakest Parlo era single behind 'Better Than Today'. 'Secret (Take You Home)' should've been the single instead.

*wink*You'll be happy *wink* when my B-sides/Album Tracks *wink* countdwn kicks off.

'Turn It Into Love' should have been a worldwide single; great track from her SAW years.

'Red Blooded Woman' is the best track on Body Language. Great video too - Kylie in tight jeans. *.*

Good for you but the point I was making is that I think devil is miles better than RBW anyday...

No hate towards Better Than Today please Aly :P

08 | Your Disco Needs You

Irrelevent but cute gif, yes.
The gayest song Kylie has ever recorded and Big H's fave Kylie song.
Now, this wasn't a single in the UK, but it was released elsewhere and had its own video and remxes etc. so there we go.
Cowritten by Kylie with Blobbie Williams and Guy Chambers, this is just a gay disco ANTHEM. Backing vocals by some deep male choir voices
and some delightful operatic-ness make this a truely memorable song, both musically and lyrically. I mean, how many songs can you name that mention
Scrabble in them? Always a great song done live and it is SO nice to hear Operalie.
EASILY the biggest missed opportunity for Kylie. I loved this when I was younger and listened to Light Years a lot; I always remember liking the "darkness comes to kick your ass" part ~childish humour~. I have to say I prefer the Casino Mix that appears on Boombox as it's more upbeat and I love the vocoder bit. The final chorus and opera parts are fantastic too.

If by "credible" you mean "boring and generic Kylie by numbers" then yes, it's a credible song.

07 | Step Back In Time

I WANNA FUCK! I WANNA FUCK!

The highest PWL era single in this countdown and the shining light from that era. A great little disco tune.

This comes from the Rhythm of Love album and is just.....flawless. From the chanting to the chorus to the 70's tastic video.

When you hear this song, you just wanna get up out your seat and boogie. Or at least have a boogie in your seat, either way, you boogie.

Said video is one of my favourite Kylie videos and she looks stunnng in it. The 70's in general scares me, but I can sit through this with no hassle at all.
