Well I'm emotionally and physically drained and that's with just reading the thread on Devoted! I'll stay over there and wait for some reports to come in I think, from the text's coming through some of us will be needing the paramedics and it's Will's best tour ever, knocked everyone's socks off! :yahoo:

Am back and I have to say Mr Young, you were amazing tonight. Am just floored again by this man's talent. His vocals were spot on tonight, so powerful and so well I just can't think of anything else to say other than I fell in love with THE VOICE all over again. Don't Let Me Be Lonely was simply Will at his soulful, bluesy best and WAI and LRN reduced my friend to tears.

KO is an incredible opener and the audience was at fever pitch with his performance. AIW was every Will fantasy I've ever had come true - OMFG!! The breeches were so tight and a tambourine in front of his mic was very strategically placed but as soon as he moved you were in no doubt exactly how well blessed he is! And I have the pictures to prove it . Not many though as my camera was confiscated but I got the breeches girls!!

Incredible set list, and I was initially disappointed that TAI was left off the set list but to be honest the rest of it was so damn good it didn't matter in the end. Home I think he just didn't have time for, he was running incredibly late and I expect it was dropped for that reason. Other than that a perfect night and knockout performance from him, the band and dancers.

He was so happy and quite chatty, in the usual Will way. LMAO at him when he said the best thing about being a gay man on stage is that you can see your arse on the screens, then he checked himself out and said he was very pleased with it

Had a brilliant night and can't wait to see him again on the 30th in Brighton. If that was the opening night I can't begin to imagine what this tour is going to be like by the end cos to be honest I'm not sure it can be improved on.

Will sort out pics tomorrow but for now am off to my bed.

Night folks.

Lainey

Thanks for your report Lainey. I am glad that Conor was there. Could you see how he reacted? He must be so proud of his man.:D

What a nuisance having your camera confiscated - everyone takes photos.

How did the audience react to him? Was the arena full? I have so many questions!

Thanks for the report Lainey. I was over on D part of last night and the thread had got to page 10, but I was so tired I just had to go to bed. Woke up this morning and the thread was at Page 51  but then it is Devoted!

Thanks very much for that Lainey!

I've started reading the 53-page thread :o on Devoted! It'll take me forever.

Fantastic report Lainey, the setlist looks fantastic and I'm so pleased to see Lovestruck in there, as for the breeches, I've seen some of the pics. http://www.sheknows.com/graphics/emoticons/blink.gif

Suggy, you need to edit your post again, it was Stronger, Lovestruck and Friday's Child that he sang with Joseph & Co, and then you repeated Lovestruck and Friday's Child.

Anyway, that's going by what "fr1day5ch1ld" (Beth) posted. :)

Sounds absolutely fantastic!

I've edited it Toni, I'm still tired from staying up so late I think.

Well Will started on time tonight and he's split his trousers, :yahoo: could have waited till saturday.

It was bound to happen Suggy, them babies are tight!! Every single pair now I come to think about it so I reckon the risk is very high for a repeat performance.

Sounds like it was a fantastic night again and the technical hitches from the first night were ironed out. Bet he's over the moon with it :D I know I am

Suggy - what are we doing about piccies. Are we bringing them over from Devoted and the O/S?

Sounds like everything's coming together. First night's are always hit and miss - the real thing is always so different from rehearsals. Sods Law - if it can go wrong it will. Really looking forward to Saturday now.

I've put in my post saturday but it's tomorrow I'm going, doh! I can't think straight this week at all and it's all Will's fault, as for the piccies, we can't post them in the normal thread can we? as some of us don't want to know anything until they go, so if we bring any over I think they should go in this tour thread for now ok? :D

The two support acts were very good..for a change

but my leg had started to jiggle and they got on my nerves after a very short while.. ..god i was so excited..i kept fidgeting and mumbling..'come on Will'..i couldn't wait to see him...

when the dancers came on..i felt sick..really..and then the music started and the curtain dropped and there he was..standing there..in uniform and shades..arms up and apart..he looked amazing and the place went mental. .including me  ....so much screaming..so many cheers...the feedback he got must of been overwhelming..

the show was fantastic..not slick and put together like the FC tour..but is was Better than than that tour ..he was on fire..bubbly..laughing..chatting.. very funny and he actually sparkled..he was so up for it ..

one bit that made us laugh was him saying about the show being put together he said..'It's hard'

someone shouted..'Is it?'

he just laughed and said...'i'm not going to rise to that'!

he said..the best thing about being a gay man is that you can check out your own arse on the screen' which he then did..he loved how tight his trousers were..and said 'i wont be doing any lunges in these babies'..and then did a lunge..which i very much enjoyed...

His singing was spine tingling..he gave me goose bumps.. his dancing is fantastic now..and he loved the dancing he looked so happy..he came to the end of the thrust..looked out towards Conor and his face was the most amazing thing to see..he looked very much in love ....his eyes..i can't explain...but it was a joy to see..

at one point..the most amazing thing happened...he began to sing All Time Love..which got a big cheer and lots of screams..and then..all the cheering and screaming went quiet and every single person began to sing the words with Will..it's was him and us  ..it radiated around the Arena and it was mind blowing.. it must of touched him deeply  . and that wasn't just only song everyone sung..WAI..LRN..LMF..TG.. SIO..it was so fantastic..all the screaming, cheering, foot stomping, clapping, laughing. the love :D .. he must of felt all those things in waves..the enjoyment he gave us was wonderful and in all the five years that i have seen him..and there have been many at many different venues..for me Cardiff the 12th of september was the best he has ever been. :yahoo:

it was one of the best Will times i have ever had.
