The process will be simple. In this thread you will nominate up to 10 artists/videos/songs/albums for each of the awards after which the most popular will progress onto the next stage, before ultimately being whittled down to your #1 in each category. Voting here is simple as all you need to do is look back on the year and nominate as many or as few for any number of the categories. The more the merrier however and remember no-one is safe or guaranteed a spot in the next stage so the more support you show for a particular act the more likely it is to make it to the VOTING stage! For the final award, please choose one act that you feel has made enough of an impact over their entire career to be given the award. Here are your categories: Album of the Year Song of the Year Collaboration of the Year Favourite Male Artist Favourite Female Artist Favourite UK Act Music Video of the Year Biggest Breakthrough Artist Outstanding Contribution to Urban Music (only include one act) We have decided to be fairly relaxed on what you can include for each category, so if in doubt whether something fits into the theme of "urban" include it anyway and the moderators can always discuss whether they should be included before the next stage begins. As an example: Little Mix CAN be nominated for a few of these because they have taken a slightly more urban stance this era as has Justin Bieber etc. Unfortunately Carly Rae Jepsen does NOT qualify. Obviously don't go overboard with the niche inclusions but really we just want to see what you think for each award. BUT changing that to 10 now because it was hard restricting it to just 5 for some of these but of course just include as many as you can if you can't think of 10. Basically GO CRAZY.
