Commentary: The song just missing out on the top spot is Get Lucky. Looked for most of the year to be top but in the last month or two a certain song just overtook. This is a song I was instantly obsessed with after one listen and most years would have been my favourite. In the points chart I made this was actually equal 3rd behind OneRepublic and the song which is number one.

Commentary: So my favourite song of 2013 is The Fox. The 2nd year in a row where my number one is a YouTube sensation. I was sure this was going to go top 10 officially after their Children In Need performance but they probably left it too late. Only the 2nd song to have spent 3 weeks atop of my chart after We Own It. Also one of only two song to have passed the 200 points barrier in my points chart with Counting Stars.
