I bet we have to take a chance with this. He's doing it unless he's needed by a producer for work on his album. I suppose it's open to other similar things as well.

 

I wish I knew what the future held. I'll leave it a while but, I could end up wasting a lot of money.

I know it's a lot, but at least it is for charity anyway Meg :) I would be gutted if Darius pulled out, and I will do the same as you and wait a little while, but it would be great if he did attend this again :)

Well here's a surprise ..............not! I haven't booked anything yet.

 

I know the ticket was almost as expensive and I took the chance that I wouldn't see Darius every time I booked for Chicago.....I would have taken some consolation from seeing someone else in the role....but a champagne reception isn't really my scene and I'd only do it for two reasons - to see and hear Darius and/or to meet up and have a ball with some lovely and some say nutty companions.

 

OT Apparently Steven Grace was on as BF this week. I hope he did well. I think he's a very talented young man. I don't know if he's happy enough in the ensemble but IMHO he should go further.

Now, I would love to see him do the part. I'd have popped down if I'd known.

Ian kelsey is getting some stick but they just had to mention D as well.

I'm worried that by law the Banqueting Hall can only take so many people and if Darius doesn't confirm until late on, I could still miss out on seeing him because of that.

 

I'm not a gambler by nature and 60 pounds plus travel and hotel costs is a lot to risk. It's driving me nutty.

I don't know what to do either. One part of me says we wont see anyrhing this year so he'll probably make it, the other part is, yes but what if a producer he respects has some time free.

 

It's still 2 months away. I wish I had a clue.

Darius has confirmed with Rachel that he WONT be doing this. I'm glad he's let us know as soon as was possible.

 

Now all we need to find out is, what is he doing instead.

he is driving me nuts,

I wondered if he does any concerts or gigs even perhaps privately whilst in the states but suppose his management would then come into play. sems a good opportunity to do so.

Do any artists have different management teams for different regions?

 

Just wondered. I suppose it isn't an issue for Darius since his joint manager seems to be spending almost as much time in the states as he is.
