Bonnie is just a perfect example of dominating the pop vote, so she pretty much held on to all the big scores she got in her original contest (not to mention the fact that the voter base in TBO was quite pop-oriented compared to the average contest these days).

The lack of pure pop for the pop fans to vote for I guess, as they all crashed out in the last round. Pleased it didn't triumph though as it's quite far from being the best entry of the year! Well done to Take Me Home and Syndare, fantastic entry and a former 12 point of mine during that contest! Very glad to see Cameron do so well too, such an anthem. Whoops at Vaults/Cut Copy/Ghost Loft...

YES. So happy with that result for Jaymes and Truls finishing 3 places higher than I expected (yay for Martin Garrix just beating Bonnie as well :kink: Didn't notice Yu's big points to 'Animals').

 

The winners not doing too well for themself this year though aside from Belanger - only 2 others in the top 10 and 2 of them making up the bottom 2! Also half of the top 4 missed the top 10 in their original contests :lol:

So happy with my 3rd place(me beating Bonnie makes it even better), i woz robbed in my contest

HUGE congrats to Syndare. Belanger did kinda feel like the 'defining' BJSC hit of the yr (imo), so it's only right really! :wub: and of course a massive sigh of relief that American Girl didn't win

 

Quite glad KST managed to not miss the top 10, and Ghost Loft avoiding the wooden spoon (which I kinda feared would happen with both!)

 

Really would've been interesting to see what the scoreboard would've been like if all the regulars took part tbh :(
