'Counting' winning its semi slightly makes up for it somehow missing the final top 10 (?!) Shocked to see Truls as high as 7th in that semi. Pretty much everything changing from the semi.

Thank GOD for that winner when compared with the rest of the top 4... also well happy that ALL of my 2nd placers beat the song they lost out to originally. robbed etc.

Also whoa at sf2! Wish I could have carried that on to the final.

Past couple of years? It's been there since like 2009 as a result of a (now abolished) law to preserve native spelling. And it'd have been much better if you omitted the umlaut instead of putting it onto a completely different letter since in Eledanese ë can be replaced with e (but never the other way around) any time without compromising grammatical integrity. It's been reported that about 63% of the country's population use the umlaut.

Will that make any difference then? (As in me coming second instead of third :kink:)

I think it does (just done a quick count and Martin received a couple more votes than John De Sohn as far as I can tell). Not checked any of the others though.

Spare moments are pretty tough to come by when you work full time, are studying for professional qualifications and moderate masses of this forum. I still have the PM's and it'll get done when I get spare time to actually do it.
