So are April and I the only ones who think this has a shot at #1? I wouldn't underestimate the power of Chasing The Sats either. No doubt that was a big part of why WAU went to #1, and NGU was featured several times on the show (granted it was almost a year ago, but I think it will help the song connect quicker with the 100k or so who have already heard the snippets).
I wish they could do another series - even if it was just for the UK!
Sounds promising! Do you or your friend know who directed it? :) In the mailer it said the director had shot some of their favourite videos of 2013, just curious so we can check out those videos and look at the directors work. :P

Haha, none just said the video was amoung their best and works well for a dance track. Of he told me anymore I'm sure he'd disown me if I wrote it on here anyway.

I think I preferred their Channel 4 documentary's more, they seemed more genuine imo. They don't need a reality tv show to sell their records though, as long as they have good normal promo. I really hope this can put them back on track and get 2014 off to a great start. But I can't see them getting a #1 personally, the albums been out for a long time now and despite not selling in numbers a lot of people interested in The Sats will already know it, I'll be very happy to be wrong though. Crossing my fingers for a top 15 and a very good chart run and sales. I just can't wait to see the five of them back together, I'm actually excited about them again and I haven't been in so long. So can't wait to see this video, they are making it sound very interesting.

IF they go up against Little Mix I guess both groups might benefit from it if the media picks up on it and gives both of them extra promo. I don't see the point of them doing it with a post album single though up against a LM charity only single, it wouldn't really mean much either way. If they want to do a Girlband battle they should schedule their new era to start the same time as Little Mix then they can both release their lead singles and albums on the same day, which is likely to be October / November time where they can both really benefit from the media promotion in the best time of year for album sales and start their campaigns off with a lot of publicity. Personally speaking though there's no need to clash single dates and cause possible friction between both groups fanbases and as I love both groups I'd rather not have the chart battle.

I thought The Saturdays: 24/7 on ITV2 was their best reality show. Just perfect in every way!
I'd be really happy if this went silver. It would be great if I could have a similar opening run to braveheart. High opening top 5 sales and then only falling to 7/8 the next week.

Loved this! All their "exclusive" live performances at the end of the episodes

Radio 1 A-listed What About Us a week BEFORE it's release, which is something they don't usually do, they usually have them on the B list and have them A listed for the week of their release. What made them make that decision after two under-performing singles? Strength of single? Sean Paul.

I want Not Giving Up on the A-list!

That's not the case - All Fired Up was A-listed a week before release as was My Heart Takes Over. My Heart Takes Over was actually A-Listed longer (3weeks) than AFU and Notorious.
Do you remember how long WAU was A listed in the end? Was it 4 or 5 weeks?

Fascination confirmed there will be remixes, a single mix and an extended mix for 'Not Giving Up'. (Twitter)

I'm not quite sure what to expect from this, I mean 'Higher' was a much stronger post album single and peaked at #10 (but I know did really well overall), but with this release strategy and the effort they're putting in to the release should ensure a definite top 10?
I'm not sure what to expect either. I can see if going to number 12 and I can see it going to number 3. I guess it's down to the radios, which could be great since it's their most modern and radio friendly song since WAU, but could also be bad because of the recent misfires. Though I would prefer them to miss the top ten and have a decent-ish chart run like Little Me than peak at 6 - 8 and fall out of the top 40 two weeks later.

Probably a rent-a-rapper then? I can't think how else they'd make a single mix different to the album version. Will be interesting to hear an extended mix though!

It was 6 weeks.

With Higher; the two versions were top 20, not one of them entered the top 10.

Extra synths as introduction before Rochelle's verse, some more bass or weird noses throughout the production chorus.

Almost all of their singles had some sort of a single mix. It doesn't mean it's going to be with a rapper.

A b-side has been confirmed too! :cheer:

^_^

Wouldn't mind if they enlisted The Alias again.

Same!

They clearly are cheap/not expensive to work with, they seem to enjoy co-writting stuff with the girls/working well with them, so we could definitely have another co-written b-side by the girls produced by The Alias.

I'm not against another Not That Kinda Girl/Ladykiller/Wildfire...Hell, maybe they will serve us some Move On U realness! :cheer: Not Giving Up is already an A+ song, I can believe we're actually getting another potentially good b-side!
