It's looking like Bring Me The Horizon will beat them both anyway. Looks like Leona will be around 5 - 8, I reckon.

How many sales you reckon? 10k ish?

Could she be at 10k pre order already?

No, absolutely not. I'd be shocked if she had 2,000. She may well not even have half of that.

I think Leona will manage between 12k - 20k in the first week. Which SHOULD get her top 5. It depends if we get more than the Lotto promo. I'd say she's on around 3 - 5k pre-orders including the fans who have pre-ordered the CD. That might not sound like a lot, but it's pretty decent. Her album pre-order is starting to pick up now. It's #185 on iTunes, sure it could be higher considering it's out in a week, but it's not looking as disastrous as it was. It's also #147 on amazon, which is a good sign.

I think the fact R2 has played songs like 'I Got You' and 'Ladders' has gotten people more interested in the album than the actual singles.

I actually agree with Regina in terms of the album. Haven't heard Power yet though. But so far "I Am" is the only song I remotely like.

There are honestly a good selection of really strong tracks on the album. I Got You, Another Love Song, Essence of Me, Ladders are all of high quality. The issue is that the label have killed a lot of the expectations and momentum by making very questionable single choices. There's nothing that has screamed hit, it's a more subtle album - but there are songs that would have easily stood out more on radio than the other 3.

No way her pre orders are like 1-2k..considering she only have a couple of small tv performances without a hit single it's all down to how much impact R2 has on album sales, I hope she can at least reach 10k but I m not too confident

I'm sure Leona can outsell Ella Eyre who has managed like 16k in her first week.

Ella had 4 moderate singles success Leona none

We'll see - I'm not expecting huge things from Leona due to a messy campaign and silly single choices, but I'm sure her fans would have pre-ordered more than 1.5k albums and I think she'll open to 15kish - which is decent. The second week fall is what I'm more worried about.

Exciting life you got there if you're looking forward to that  Let them local flops shine I guess

They are doing way better than her in terms of pre-orders on itunes and Amazon, there's no way she will outsell them.

The only have to focus on 1 market anyway

Stereophonics does alright in Europe and Bring Me To The Horizon's last album charted quite well worldwide including #11 in the US.

I think Leona's going to end up at #5-#8. She'll likely be behind Stereophonics/Bring Me To The Horizon and then we'll have to see how The Foals/The Weeknd's second weeks are like and Jess Glynne's 3rd week. They could all be higher than Leona.

I'm hoping the album will be able to go top 5 with around 15k sold though.

Album is up to #214 on iTunes and #116 on Amazon. Should continue to rise well into next week once her promotion starts kicking in. :cheer:

Also Leona's on Lorraine Thursday next week apparantley (first episode of a new morning tv show). Hopefully we'll get a lot more info on TV promo coming up in the next few weeks as there seems like there'll be quite a bit!

She might (will) be there because she's in London for promo.

Congrats btw. :yahoo:

Comparing to the none that Leona has a hope of currently succeeding in?

I'll be happy with a début in the top 10 for the album but I think sustaining its sales is the most important thing. A promo banner on iTunes homepage worldwide would be amazing promo for the album and I guess the Lottery and Lorraine is the best promo Leona can hope for at a time of year where there aren't many shows around. I think 'I Am' was a ridiculous single choice in hindsight. It's among her worst singles for me. That said, releasing 'I Got You' will rectify this. It depends how quick Island will react to potentially an underwhelming start for the album.

Better than only being relevant in one country. Atleast Leona had #1 album worldwide :cheer: Stereoflops will never see that. Ever.

Leona isn't even relevent in one country and hasn't had 5 consecutive #1 albums.

Leona actually makes listenable music :kink:

Just in the case of some of this album x

That's why it was totally retarded to even bring up them to begin with, but you do you I guess.
