150. 78Violet- Hothouse

UK: 108

Aly & AJ finally return, over five years since they last released a single (Like Whoa!) Sadly this fails to live up to their previous material, nor any of the leaked stuff from their ditched third Hollywood album (search The Next Worst Thing), it doesn't even live up to the opening theme of Hellcats, Belong Here. Hothouse's video seems to be about sisterly love/insest and a strange love of horses. Hothouse is an alright song, but in future please more Chemicals React/ Potential Breakup Song style songs please.

149: Stooshe- Slip

UK: 12

Ah Stooshe, it was all going so well. I think Stooshe will be be a case of what could have been. Slip is a good song, and a great comeback after Waterfalls tanked, however I don't see them having another hit any time soon, which is a shame.

Above average Nickelodeon boyband. Above average song.

Another case of missed potential, they could be so good. However their record label don't seem to care. However they both seem like hateful people so it is possibly for the best their egos that they have never smashed it.

145. Will.I.Am featuring Miley Cyrus- Fall Down

AUS: 14, UK: 34, USA: 58

Most of the reason I like this song is Danny Saucedo's instagram video dancing to the introduction in a blindfold.

Acapella is disgusting,.

Fall Down however is grand.

142. Ashlee Simpson- Bat For a Heart

DNC anywhere

Late 2012 saw Ashlee Simpson return after a break of over four years away from the music scene. Gone was her pop/rock roots she started with and the dance influence on 2007's Bittersweet World. The experimental release was a big departure for Ashlee, it's weird but I love it.

141. Amelia Lily- Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)

UK: 11 Ire: 63 Slo: 31

Ah Amelia, a case in how not to release a record, three top 40 singles and no album as of yet, the album includes rejects from Mel Blatt's 2003 solo album which also never happened.

140. Jackie Thomas- It's Worth It

NZ: 1

Series 1 (and the way it is looking the only series) of X Factor New Zealand winner's single here. Following Australia's example and using an original winners song, this went straight in at number 1 and was platinum by it's third week. Very well done to those who sorted this out.

139: Taylor Henderson- Borrow My Heart

Aus: 1

For some reason, X Factor Australia all the finalists end up releasing their winners singles and get a video as for the second season in a row all three finalists have been signed by Sony Music Australia. Anyway this is a good song as it goes, but no where near the actual winners song, which is still to come.

Can We Dance is the best so far Martyn, where's the rest of the chart!

138 James Arthur- Recovery

UK: 19

A hateful hateful man. Anyway this song is good, and the best of his three singles. Amazingly it was released at a fitting time, with what was being said about him in the media time, mainly caused by his own actions, you could be cynical and say it was all planed.

Someone was banging on about Chvrches on here for ages, not sure who so I thought I would check them out. I thought it was just a girl, but apparently it is much more.

Finishing 8th in the first (and only) season of X Factor Sweden. His only single "#Fail" did just that and failed to chart. This is much better than that, very up beat.

135. Victoria Justice- Gold

Ah Victoria, you had your own TV series, all about your character, led most of the songs, and Nicole Scherzingered your name into the featuring. Yet it was one of your backing stars who has all the success. Gold failed to chart anywhere other than the Billboard Hot Dance Club songs where it peaked at 27.
