' Wrecking Ball ' has officially became Miley Cyrus third biggest selling single as it has passed 2,761,000 sales in the United States. It should overtake ' The Climb ' within the next couple of months but it still nearly 2 million sales behind ' Party In The Usa'.

 

Rolling Stones and Billboard have also placed ' We Can't Stop ' as number one song of 2013.

The movement for the Miley forum will begin on Monday, I've been incredibly busy and I'm putting the plan into work on my day off!

I am going yo be honest and say that I was never a big Miley fan, but after listening to her interviews on the Big Top 40 she seems like a lovely person who the press seem to morph into something she is not. Bangerz is also a very good album :D

i love miley, but i'm never sure who she is. is the 'behaviour' attention seeking bullsh*t to get the media talking, or is she just trying to be different and stand out of the crowd and do what she wants? :unsure:

She's claimed that she plays a character, I think she's aware of what she's doing and is attention seeking to get more noticed, I'm almost positive that her next album will be mature etc.

She does everything with a purpose. That's to get people talking about her. It's what needs to be done in this day and age, especially for a pop star like Miley. It most certainly worked for her this year! She's had her most successful (and indeed, controversial) era yet. It reminds me of Britney's transition from the bubblegum pop days of the 'Baby One More Time'/'Oops...' eras through to her 'Britney'/'In The Zone' ('Slave 4 U'/"lesbian kiss" debacle). She's become a force to be reckoned with. People are noticing her and talking about her, which is the point imo. All publicity is good publicity. :P

 

But the thing I get the most from her, especially after watching the MTV "The Movement" documentary she did, she knows exactly what she's doing and not doing it unwillingly/she's aware of the consequences.

I absolutely love her tbh. She seems like such a nice person and I don't think she's being anything she's not necessarily... She's a very smart girl I think, and clearly her knowledge of how to play the media and music audiences has paid off!

She's also got the two most viewed music videos' of 2013.

What a year it's been for R Miley, eh? Will she continue to dominate the press in 2014? Will she "do a Bieber" and become more and more annoying (ha! whatever!)? Only time will tell.

 

We're off to a slow and steady start for the forum, but here's hoping it picks up and becomes one of the main ones with time!

Anyone else think Maybe You're Right is absolutely amazing?! Easily my favourite non-single off the album, why has she gone with the completely bland and useless Adore You over it?

I'm loving this random 'Maybe You're Right' loving we're seeing here <3 The love for '#getitright' though... not so much. It's ok. But it's the definition of filler to me. :(
