Fronted by former childstar Marisa Liz, Portuguese pop/rock band Amor Electro affirmed themselves as one of the biggest Portuguese bands of the decade with their debut album. Debut hit "A Máquina" ("the machine") not only was a chart-topper in my chart.

In 2012, Amor Electro were one of the musical acts who received the Border Breakout prize, given by the European Union.

394. "The Edge Of Glory" Lady Gaga (4 weeks)

Reached #1: 26 June 2011

UK Chart Peak: #6

As one of the tracks frontloaded for the release of the "Born This Way Album", "The Edge Of Glory" had first charted in early May peaking as high as #10 and was on the way out of my chart until its proper single release propelled it from #36 to the topspot, which remains the biggest climb to #1 within my top 40 chart.

Regarded as the album's highlight and featuring a saxophone solo by Clarence Clemons, "The Edge Of Glory" was 2011's longest running #1 in my chart.

At the time it was #1 in my chart, it was still only a promotional track but due to its proper release in early 2012, it stayed 21 weeks in my top 40. The song was a chart-topping hit in the UK and Israel as well.
