Hair going Silver is only a matter of time, as is SLS overtaking Cannonball, which is seriously impressive for a song that has had to pretty much sell itself. Wouldn't surprise me if both climb in the next couple of weeks when the chart becomes less cluttered

Yes it's very that! Imagine if it actually had proper promo. That still bothers me.

The lack of promo SLS got will always be a sore subject for Mixers. I remember when Ben Haenow sang Thinking Out Loud on The X Factor a couple of years ago it went back up to Number 1, I can definitely see something similar happen to SLS. It could even rise next week with some of the Beyoncé and Prince songs inevitably falling

I do agree that they could have done more with SLS but they did do Graham Norton, one of the best promo slots there is.

 

Look at songs like 'Fast Car' and 'Cheap Thrills', they did well with less promo than SLS. I think the fact R1 would only briefly get behind the song and Heart got on board way too late harmed SLS going top 5, but I'm quite happy with how it did overall (though do agree it could have had like a performance on This Morning or something)

Yeah, I woudn't mind SLS having little promo if it didn't drop so fast after it reached it's peak.

(By the way, SLS is #20 on Australia for a second week, should go platinum)

Get Weird almost top 10 at 11, and looks like it will manage to climb back in.
