Wow I knew sales were low during that week but I didn't realise they were THAT low. Surely only a matter of time though

Yeah, I'm sure it will go double platinum eventually, but it will take it's time. That's perfectly fine though, to go platinum on this sale scenario is already huge.

It's crazy that Glory Days has outsold DNA in just 6 weeks. It's chart run is amazing thus far, hopefully it can hold up, sales may be low but to be consistently one of the best sellers every week is incredible. Love that Get Weird is still hopping into the top 40 every now and again too. Two album selling very nicely. How I wish I had their bank accounts right now. ;)
Despite being released in November 2015, Get Weird has spent the whole of 2016 in the Top 50. Just let that sink in
Didn't realise LMLY is so close to 500k

Edited by BigMixer

We haven't had an update on LMLY for ages. I assume Hair is already there so that means we almost have all 4 Get Weird singles at 500k at least
'Get Weird' is finally gold in Australia!
'Get Weird' is finally gold in Australia!

Finally :yahoo:

If Touch smashes (and it looks like it will) + Oops pushing the album sales, Glory Days will definitely reach Gold too.

Wonder how far is Salute from the gold certification?

All sales updated.

SOTME still top 20 but only 282,297 behind Black Magic...it's going to happen, isn't it?

Amazing to see Black Magic so close to 1M! Fingers crossed we'll see that cross the mark around April I'd presume
Amazing to see Black Magic so close to 1 million, will be a great day when it finally happens

To me 'Shout Out To My Ex' doesn't feel as big as 'Black Magic' despite it having a much better chart run and likely sales. I'm not sure why that is, maybe it's just me? Glad to see both SOTME and Black Magic are on track to pass the million mark though. :)
To me they feel equally as big as each other I think. SOTME feels like one of those songs everyone would know.

Probably cause Black Magic was performed EVERYWHERE in the UK (literally, probably every tv show possible), in a lot of big American shows (Ellen, America's Got Talent, James Cordean, etc) besides all the European ones etc. While SOTME did have quite a few international performances, it did lack the America push.

That's probably what it is for me, great observation.
