This Dutch singer was in my chart in 2008 with “Father and son” and “Good days”. “Back in my world” reached the Dutch Top 10 in 2013.

Originally recorded in 1991 by Juan Luis Guerra “Frio Frio” was performed with top Bachata singer Romeo Santos who will feature three more times in my Top 100 of the year.

2nd track on this rundown from “Unorthodox Jukebox” the best selling album worldwide in 2013

49. The story of my life (One Direction)

This song was the first appearance on my chart for One Direction but the tenth big international hit of the band’s career up to the end of 2013.

48. Sograo caprichou (Luan Santana)

2nd track from the Brazilian singer in this year’s chart rundown. It spent 12 weeks inside my Top 10 only peaking at 7 but finishing 5th on Brazil’s year end chart.

47. Kangaroo court (Capital Cities)

Follow up to “Safe and Sound” still to feature on this rundown and features humans dressed as anomals on the video like…...

46. Youth (Foxes)

Reached 12 in the UK charts but reached the Top 10 in my chart.

45. Tsunami (DVBBS and Borgeous)

This dance track reached number one in France, Holland and Belgium for the Canadian band and followed in the footsteps of Martin Garrix’s “Animals” which appears later in this rundown.

44. Treasure (Bruno Mars)

Highest placed track from “Unorthodox Jukebox” in the 2013 rundown. “ Gorilla” was at 50 and “Moonshine” at 97. In the 2012 rundown “When I was your man” was at 5, “Locked out of heaven” at 11 and “Young Girls” at 36. Six tracks were also placed in the 2010 and 2011 year end rundown from Bruno Mars first album “Doo wops and hooligans” including “Grenade” at 9 and “Just the way you are” in the 2010 year end rundown and “It will rain” at 9 in the 2011 year end rundown.

First entry into my chart for Katy Perry since her collaboration with Timbaland on “If we ever meet again” which was number one in my chart in 2009. “I kissed a girl” was number one in 2008 and “Hot n cold” went close later the same year. “Roar” was one of the Top 10 international hits of 2013.
