For me this was the video of the year as Stromae plays a drunk on the streets of Brussels with unknowing members of the public and the Police playing their part as they were being filmed by hidden cameras. Another love (Tom Odell) This is the top placed UK song on my year end chart having been number one for 4 weeks in February and March. Hold on we're going home (Drake) Drake has had over 50 songs on the US R and B charts and 13 number ones on the US Rap chart. However “Hold on we’re going home” is the rapper’s first appearance on my chart and it’s no rap song. Wake me up (Avicci ft Aloe Blacc) One of three songs to sell over a million in the UK in 2013 and was massive throughout the world. It was top for 2 weeks in my chart in July and August. Limbo (Daddy Yankee) “Limbo” was top of my chart for 2 weeks in March and April and was the second biggest Latin song of 2013 behind Marc Anthony’s “Vivir mi vida”, a cover of Khaled’s “C’est la vie” which was on my 2012 year end chart. “Limbo” has an extravagant video and the song has over 225 million youtube views to date excluding the parodies, unofficial cheorography and remix videos. 6BTjG-dhf5s 3. Blurred Lines (Robin Thicke ft T.I./Pharrell) The biggest selling international hit of 2013 is also number one on my year end chart. It topped my chart for 5 weeks in May and June. January 2, 201411 yr Great #1, it defines the year like few other songs and I still love it! Brilliant to see Hozier doing so well too, it MUST smash here, it deserves to be heard and the video deserves to be seen.
