Posted January 8, 201411 yr MpHAX4J0e0Y Chart rundown: 10 - CeCe Peniston - "I'm In The Mood (UK Mix)" 09 - Eternal - "Save Our Love" 08 - Haddaway - "I Miss You" 07 - DJ Duke - "Blow Your Whistle" 06 - K7 - "Come Baby Come" 05 - Bryan Adams, Sting, & Rod Stewart - "All For Love" 04 - East 17 - "It's Alright" 03 - Culture Beat - "Anything" 02 - Chaka Demus & Pliers - "Twist & Shout" 01 - D:Ream - "Things Can Only Get Better" Best songs in the top ten (personal opinion): CeCe Peniston, Culture Beat, Eternal, & D:Ream. Ah, 90's dance.
January 9, 201411 yr I remember this top 10 - I really liked K7 at the time and I had bought D:Ream the first time round. Worst song in the top 10 - definitely that tripe at number 5.
January 9, 201411 yr East 17 and D:ream for me. I never got on with Eternal after their first hit or two, I'll take Louise's solo career any day...
January 9, 201411 yr Just for reference the Official chart positions in brackets. 10 ( 16 ) CeCe Peniston - "I'm In The Mood (UK Mix)" 9 ( 12 ) Eternal - "Save Our Love" 8 ( 11 ) Haddaway - "I Miss You" 7 ( 15 ) DJ Duke - "Blow Your Whistle" 6 ( 4 ) K7 - "Come Baby Come" 5 ( 7 ) Bryan Adams, Sting, & Rod Stewart - "All For Love" 4 ( 3 ) East 17 - "It's Alright" 3 ( 5 ) Culture Beat - "Anything" 2 ( 1 ) Chaka Demus & Pliers - "Twist & Shout" 1 ( 2 ) D:Ream - "Things Can Only Get Better"
January 12, 201411 yr It can't really be compared because The Chart Show, ran a Wednesday to Tuesday chart...where as Milward Brown/Radio One & that stuff were on the Sun to Sat throw. To which, you've compared it to the wrong Radio One chart anyway, as Chart Show was ahead on the Saturday, so the equivalent of Radio One, would of been the following week ending date. Both w/k ending 22nd Jan 94. As follows: 10 ( 17 ) CeCe Peniston - "I'm In The Mood (UK Mix)" 9 ( 8 ) Eternal - "Save Our Love" 8 ( 9 ) Haddaway - "I Miss You" 7 ( 26 ) DJ Duke - "Blow Your Whistle" 6 ( 3 ) K7 - "Come Baby Come" 5 ( 4 ) Bryan Adams, Sting, & Rod Stewart - "All For Love" 4 ( 6 ) East 17 - "It's Alright" 3 ( 5 ) Culture Beat - "Anything" 2 ( 2 ) Chaka Demus & Pliers - "Twist & Shout" 1 ( 1 ) D:Ream - "Things Can Only Get Better" Don't be obsessed with the Radio One chart & over use this "official" word. It's no better than any other chart. All charts were pretty correct, it's just that they ran a different compilation period. Plus they all made mistakes on more than one occasion.
