Posted January 8, 201411 yr http://escxtra.com/2013/12/dates-and-rules...2014-published/ Moldova are ready to reveal late as usual, will their entry initially get lost among the crowd for being revealed in the midst of March? Only time will tell.
January 9, 201411 yr I was pretty disappointed last year when after a selection season DROWNING in white bread female ballads we got another one at the end. But we all know how THAT turned out *.*
March 15, 201411 yr Apparently Cristina Scarlat has won, but ESC Xtra aren't completely sure yet! :kink: If she has won, here is the music video: z_E12QokqAs (Edited post to replace video with official Eurovision preview video)
March 15, 201411 yr I know i keep slagging off every song this year but reallllllly - another bad one :(
March 15, 201411 yr Oh dear. This song has no melody whatsoever. I can't see it being anywhere other than bottom 2 in the semis.
March 15, 201411 yr Author This is fabulously dark. Never count out Moldova, I think this could grab a midtable given the quality of this year. It's definitely the sort of song that could use a lot of good imagery in its performance.
March 15, 201411 yr LOL no way Moldova are coming bottom 2 in a semi with all those ex soviet countries. I think mid-table finisher in the final if they 'Moldova it up' enough.
March 15, 201411 yr Keith Mills says it walks all over Spain and Sweden. Now I've heard it I'm more convinced than ever that he listens to a different set of songs to the rest of us each year.
March 15, 201411 yr Author Keith Mills says it walks all over Spain and Sweden. Now I've heard it I'm more convinced than ever that he listens to a different set of songs to the rest of us each year. I'd agree with him with Spain. Ruth's song isn't quite doing it for me, it's a bit plain all told. This on the other hand has a pretty grand feeling to it, and the imperfections just add to the whole brilliant angsty vibe that's going on. It certainly isn't better than Sanna though.
